01 Piramex - Aquamarine
Rising Russian sensation Piramex has graced a variety of international DJ playlists this past year, thanks to a slew of inspired, peak-hour compositions. Although he is a relative newcomer, his sound is noticeably polished: influences of classic progressive coalesce brilliantly with a modern, bassline-centered compositional approach in all of his tracks to date.
His first single on our Silk Royal division, "Aquamarine", is an unabashed melodic progressive house stormer, founded upon a stormy groove and a hypnotic vocal stab sequence. Following a thrilling crescendo, a climactic main theme arrives with tremendous exuberance. It's a funky, neon-tinged, and truly unforgettable motif that will beckon you to the dancefloor.

Fantastic. Just one thing - that synth lead during the breakdown could be better developed just a tad. Imagine what Talamanca or Shingo Nakamura would of done with that. But this is good stuff, a rising star indeed.
