According to Mercedes 2024 CES press release: ”The first vehicles to run on MB.OS will be the family based on the forthcoming MMA platform. The Concept CLA Class, which celebrates its North American premiere at CES 2024, offers a close-to-production insight into the future range of four vehicles. " So in practise we could expect first MMA platform car(s) on the road on 2025.

It is very sad how far behind they are in the EV space and the “ground breaking” technology they talk about is equivalent to 5-10 years old tech in China.

Old legacy manufacturers have been late on EV transition, let’s see how this all evolves in near future.

That’s not true. The EQS is still the most advanced EV of any manufacturer. Just compare the specs and go in depth into every component and detail. Not even models like the new Nio ET9 achieve all of the features of the EQS.

Legacy Automakers tend to do quite a bit more testing and sourcing better parts than in China. For instance, all the London Double Deckers from BYD going up in flames. But then again Mercedes EVs burnt up a cargo ship.

MB is always talking about iconic past model or future models. The actual evmodels are so bad that no one likes them and nobody talks about them

@@fmsantoscarThey‘re pretty decent. I drive an EQE 350. Not the most efficient under the sun, but terrific ride comfort.
