I know!! We have the PS3 versions! I’m no programmer but I can’t imagine it would be that hard to put the ps3 ports onto ps5/xbox! 🥺
It is not. I think it's a commercial issue. They probably fear that the work done will not be properly repaid. because most of them play it on PC with a lot of mods. They did it with RE1 and they can do it with RE2 too. I also purchased them on PS3, and I can already play RE1 on PS5. therefore also with RE2 and RE3. So given the value they have, Capcom would like to earn something from them first with a remastered or an HD version. But it probably doesn't do it because of the many who exploit it on PC with mods, as I already mentioned. Furthermore, community fans have already created HD versions and reworked the textures. To make capcom's intervention useless. So he probably thought Ok, I don't make any money from it, and I don't even want to release it for the fans. (Fuk u funs). I think it's this or capcom just doesn't care at all.
@@BerserkerS0ul very solid points! And no matter what they do, they can’t please everyone. So if they updated the textures some would complain oh i prefer the original, just make those less pixelated. And then you’d have the flip side of that. If they keep things the same they’d be called lazy by other fans who wanted something more. I think they could do what Konami did with metal gear. Announce their next remake and then re-release the classics basically as is on modern day systems in one package. Maybe they could add in some console exclusives most people didn’t get to experience. Like the battle mode in re1 on sega or the n64 randomizer for re2.

He memorize the game but still 1hr and 30 min i finish this with special key in just 45 min
Couple things. 1, it’s a longplay, not a speedrun. That’s kind of the point is that it takes longer 😂
2. world record for Leon B is 52 minutes according to speedrun.com. Sooooo if you can do it in 45, the world would love to see it.
Is there any game download point?
If you google “resident evil 2 sourcenext” you can find it. There’s the rebirth patch that adds some quality of life improvements too :)
