As a married man in the process of sanctification, thank you to a pastor I've never heard speak before for being obedient to the prompting of the Lord. This is one of the most convicting messages I've ever heard. It would be my hope that every Christian husband and husband to be would hear this message loud and clear. Bless your heart, pastor

Submission is a most misunderstood word and even prone to much abuse.
On the other hand, the modern woman's independence and 'princess/queen' mentality is an open door for Jezebel like situation.
Men need to humble down, so do women. I see much much more instances of an unsubmissive woman than an abusive husband.
Just as Christ loved his Church.... is the key for husbandly love.

I listened to a Christian Radio station years ago & they had taken a Survey, talking to Christian young men in their 20's & asked WHY not too many want to marry now-a-days, they all had the same answer. The young men said... "Women are too controling"

Some women decrease their own negotiating power.. throwing the entire family eco-system into chaos, this is where the issue of forgiveness begins and unfortunately churches have dropped the ball on this. It’s nearly impossible to live with people who won’t apologize..husbands and wives are are reflection of each other, as a mirror is…but if one person won’t recognize the mutual benefit of the relationship, that relationship won’t work. Full Stop. I wish he would have taken this deeper..

If you have Christ and live by the Spirit then submission and headship are both quite simple. If you don't understand Christ and don't live by the Spirit, these concepts are quite difficult to understand. Christ explained: Love, God, submission, headship... he explains it all.

Submission is explained by Christ and the Holy Spirit. The reason none of this teaching will last beyond whatever social media cycle is that it isn't based on God's teaching. Nowhere does God say submission is something deemed mutually dignifying. I've found many people are deceived in the modern world by modern worldy ideas. So what is mutually agreed upon could vary dramatically depending on the people invovled. INSTEAD, I would rather say submission is living by the Spirit and becoming like Chirst - this literally solves every and any problem you think of. This is why Paul says when you live by the Spirit there is no need for law. This is why Jesus says, Love others as I have loved you. These two things explain all the law and the prophets. Your defintion is just modern wisdom.

We in Christ are not 3rd class citizens but in Christ we are all 1st class citizen or children of God. I have keep sharing how treat my wife in Christ to certain groups daily with those God put us to them and we are going on vocation soon ( booked month ago and book half year ahead of time for Daniel's show too in Christ) in the future with some families soon. We ( my wife and I ) and others we hope to lead to Christ also follow up for years. They knows i also love my wife😊❤ in Christ.
