now, big bone in the leg
TIBIA
this is a big bone, we call it "Tibia" in English
this is fractured
this is called an oblique fracture
the pattern is
in oblique shape
now you can
treat in 2 ways
by placing a rod inside
by fixing a plate on the side
only 5 cm incision is enough for a rod
rod is inserted
bone will unite
without soft tissue damage
if you take a plate
you have to open a large area
will strip off the blood supply to the region
so only
in diaphysis fractures
plating is not always a good way to treat

Sir, please help me sir femur thigh bone communited fracture as you shown in the video (part 2)..this is month of 6th month but, no callus found bone growth non union still still sir..doctor done intramedullary nailing rod for this.. But, still not cure sir.. How long i will be wait for bone growth.. Otherwise doctor said again go for surgery and fix rod and plate both after 6th month.. Wha can i do for.. How long I'll wait for it sir.. Is it confirm to go for surgery after 6th month nah sir.. Age 29 sir.. No other cure except surgery nah sir? Please suggest me some thing sir please🙏 i had anxious and stress of continues thinking sir.. Please🙏 help me sir..

1.What is called or considered "as a full recovery" after orif tibia and fibula surgery ?
a.Full Union of bones in Xray (or)
b. partial joining of bones in Xray but capable of weight bearing walking
2. Without joining of bones in Xray but capable of walking..is it good to join duty or go back to work at this stage? Or have to wait take rest for complete joining of broken bones?
Full recovery is able to walk full weight bearing without pain irrespective of xray changes.

have to examine in detail. based on your history, as far as i know. it will take more 3 months to fully recover.

In 2 years. No issue. It will be difficult to remove if delayed. The plate can be left if it doesn’t cause any trouble(pain)

Rod is added to my right hand , Dr told for a 4 months rest. After rest can i lift heavy weights? Can i use that hand as a normal person after rest ?

You showed a tibia 🦴. If same broken condition surgery done with steel rod..
What is the recovery time..? Approximate or average
Approximately 1 month for full weight bearing. 3 months for full recovery

Hi sir, actually i met with an accident one and half years ago,doctors implanted locking plates for my tibia and fibula more than 14 nails are kept .from then no pain recently during exercise it is painful .after complete taking rest also it is paining.i went to the Doctor week ago nothing releif.give me suggestion what can I do sir.
