The problem with Royal Grand plastic is that it's only made in max weights. As a weaker thrower myself I never throw discs above 170g because it's just a waste of energy and I know I won't get the proper flight out of the disc. Not to mention the distance that you'll lose.
Looks like the strive is a 13 speed per the PDGA picture, but some people say it seems like a 12. i need to get a Brave for sure. Last two sold on ebay for 79.99 which is not fun.

The Lat 64 Rive is very beefy for us sub 400 arms. Even if Strive is a little less stable I’d imagine it’s like a star destroyer.

Strive is a 13 speed and the thought is that it’s a straight rive, hence the name.
