I wonder if they had captured the Library Ghost that they had first encountered during the first movie's montage. like the Library Ghost appears again a scares another librarian, and the Ghostbusters get another call about the Library Ghost and they return to the New York Public Library, and they actually capture the Library Ghost and put the Libray Ghost into the containment storage facility. then when Walter Peck had their containment storage facility shut off, all of the ghosts that they had captured escape during the explosion, including the Library Ghost, and the Library Ghost returns to the New York Public Library, or ad Egon said of the video game "Back to it's original manifestation point." to guard the Gozerian Codex until the Ghostbusters re-captures the Librarian Ghost again and retrives the Gozerian Codex of the 2009 video game!
Well i like to pretend that they actually did catch the library ghost during the montage of the first movie and they put the library ghost in their storage facility containment grid, and then later when Walter Peck has their containment shut off, the library ghost also escapes along with all of the other ghosts that they captured during the montage, and the library ghost returns to the library, or as Egon said in the video game "Back to it's original manifestation point." to guard the Gozerian Codex!
Trivia, when new yorkers saw the cadillac ecto 1 they kept asking what ghost busters was. This was when they were filming and took the car out to get stuff

The only one disapointing thing about the Ghostbusters II soundtrack CD is the soundtrack version of the Ghostbusters Rap by RUN DMC doesn't have the continuing drum beat and eerie music just like at 06:10 that the 2nd movie's version of the Ghostbusters Rap by RUM DMC does, if you know what i mean. i don't know why the sound mixers didn't also still used the continuing drum beat and the eerie music heard at 06:10 of the 2nd movie's version of the Ghostbusters Rap by RUN DMC also for the soundtrack version of the Ghostbusters Rap by RUN DMC too.
