Arturia DrumBrute Quick Demo

A brief little beat from the mighty new DrumBrute. This video features the two kick drum power of this machine. Kick 1 was routed through the Boss Metal Zone for good measure. Kick 2 is untreated. Additionally the Strymon Blue Sky was used on the tambourine and snare, and the Moog MF Delay on the Hats.
Look out for another DrumBrute video soon, featuring the polyrhythmic functionality of this slamming beatbox.

Great demo! It's always refreshing to see a rhythm on the drumbrute not built for techno or house.
How does the distortion sound on Kick 2? I havn't seen any videos featuring this yet.

I'm sorry to say this machine sounds terrible. It's the most sh...y sounding drummachine currently on the market.You'll need a hell of high end outboard equipment to make it sound good.
Anyway, it seems that a lot of people like this outdated, oldfashioned sound. So, have fun and keep on making music. ;-)
