How To Take Self Timer Pictures on Your Phone + Editing // WEEK 5

In today's Mindset monday video I want to share 2 mega helpful tips I recently learned when taking self timer pictures on your phone (either with iPhone or Android). I know quite a lot of you use your smartphones to take your self portraits and photos, so I wanted to share some tips to make the whole self timer photo shoot a lot easier :)
For my photoshoot I made a DIY backdrop using a clothing rack and a velvet curtain, some flowers and added the accessory we're all wearing right now, the face mask.
I then set up my phone on a selfie stick/ tripod and connected my phone to my laptop so I could use my laptop as a field monitor. Check out the video to see the simple steps on how to do this :)
I used the app Lightroom to shoot and edit all the photos, it's free to download for both iPhone and Android in the App store.

I often take self portraits on my phone cause I'm ashamed of asking people to take pictures of me; my much more rudimental set up is a pile of books or my jewel box to keep the phone standing and a mirror to see what the phone is framing because I never use frontal camera as the quality is very very poor

These are great tips. I’ve been using a different approach to do my online remote photo shoots for clients, but now I’ll tell them to download the Lightroom app ahead of time so that ‘my camera’ essentially stays the same for every client I shoot. Thanks for this!
I’ve found the Apple Watch camera app useful for focusing my own self portraits, in case anyone else is looking for another self portrait focusing solution.
Does apple watch camera work for I phone too?

Hello, Ms. Kika, a suggestion from me, you can buy a bluetooth shutter that you can just click so that your camera will take pictures without you clicking the click button on your phone. It is so convenient and that is what I'm using. Thank you!

I'm jealous. I'm using vivo v17 pro, when I open my lightroom and go to professional settings, I don't have the DNG format settings on the upper part 😔 I don't know why. I tried to look if my lightroom is updated, and yes it is. Maybe phone matter.

I know tether for a camera, but for a phone? Can I connect it to iPad through wifi also or just use tether camera through wifi without a cable, like normal camera. through shutter app or smth?
