I don't know why but this brought tears to my eyes! I can't believe how intelligent dogs can be. I'm so glad you have her and she can help you in so many ways.
She’s a sweetheart! Dogs love having a job to do and any dog that is trained as a service dog is very lucky! They know exactly what is expected of them. God bless the people who came up with the idea to use dogs to make their owners feel safe and to help with daily life!
Purrfect pup! Sedona is ready to help! A great deal goes into training a service dog! Kudos to all who worked at getting Sedona trained and ready and thanks for sharing!! You are always an inspiration.
My eyes were teary, and I smiled through this whole video. I 💓💓💓 dogs *so* much. And I'm not surprised at all that you added that li'l "Kiss" command. 😘
Aaahhhh what a wonderful smart intelligent beautiful dog , I love have you praise her always when she has done a command 👍, lovely to watch you two , thank you for sharing x x x
Wow!!!! Great video thanks for sharing love your doggie. so cute and so smart!! So wonderful and amazing to have such a smart dog like that to help you with your needs you’re so lucky again so blessed!!!
I've been watching your series and I LOVE them all. This fantastic service dog Sedona with an unconditional love for Zack!! God bless you both and Zack' family and his friends. All the very best for you all !!!Many love from Kyoto Japan xoxoxoxo
Awwwww She is amazing!!! I love her completely!!! 💖💖💖💖💖💖🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾 She is like an Angel with hair... I love her the most when she speaks and when she looks at you...
Wow, zack that is a very smart dog, you and Sadona are meant to be together, God Will see you through all your difficulties , you are a inspiration to me as I am a quadriplegic c5-c7 , thank you for all your videos. God Bless
Excellent video Zack, thanks for posting, much appreciated. You have one of the best CZcams channels bro. Have a very nice and peaceful day my brave and gifted friend : )
Sedona is so SWEET! Another great, informative video! That is the first time that I got to see how well trained these dogs, are..! AMAZING!! My naughty "Coco" could learn from Sedona.😊Dogs are juuuuust Great!
it is inspiring to see what your are doing! I believe I actually know the the neurosurgeon that operated on you because he was a client of mine in Anaheim Hills at that time. ( can't barely believe your video popped up on my youtube home page, amazed by the interconnectedness of all things) He mentioned the story to me and I was very sad to hear about it, and I remember wondering what life would be like for you. thank you for these videos that inspire and pay tribute to the resilience of the the human spirit. Never be defeated, never give up!
I am a PTSD/TBI US Army vet. I too have a true service dog. I am glad yours helps you. Unfortunately because I do not have a physical condition and I look "normal" people assume it's all bullshit. I want to take my life daily due to the physical pain I endure , the constant 200 x's a day intrusional thoughts and the thought of how much I am a burden to my family. There are too many fake Service dogs(SD's). While my SD was trained to perform different tasks to help me in public settings. A few years ago my trainer brought up a nationally standardize recognized test all SD's would have to pass, but it led to many deaths threats according to her. People are mean. I wish I had died . I would gladly trade my condition for yours. If they ever figure out a way to transfer a brain you are more than welcome to my body.
I have a cci dog...well two on my successor. Got a job again because of him. This company truly makes us independent. Love seeing other. cci dogs. She is pretty.
Your dog is a blessing! (And other service dogs too.) I’m raising a guide dog puppy and she must not wear her vet while eating. I’m very surprised your dog is allowed to wear it. 😯 Also, I love watching videos like this as it reminds me of giving back my dog at age of 1 for real training is okay. Despite I will miss her sooo much I know I did/do a good job for a very important purpose. I hope my dog will be as wonderful guide dog one day as yours! 💗
Well I got to say your doing very good stay positive and have faith !! But let me tell you , I hear the same thing at home I do dishes mop the kitchen to help my wife out and I hear GOOD BOY !! 😂😂so I know how your dog feels 😂😂😂 and bless your girl for taking care of you also she is a blessing to you !!! God bless all three of you !!!
She’s great, my Onyx may be trained to do different things but she also used to change when her harness was put on. With Guide Dogs we have to do things that you probably couldn’t do like a good brush everyday so I can feel any change in her body but I imagine you’re able to do a visual inspection. At home though she’s always been just a pet that plays and steals food and stuff. She’s rarely not aware of where I am though, she’s incredibly loyal even though she had to retire due to noise sensitivity, anyone who randomly sets off fireworks I hate you, passionately.
Sedona is s~o beautiful❣l love the twitching of her lip when she lifts her head from eating her dinner😙 She made me laugh out loud right then 6:04 What a voice she has😗 Nice to meet you Sedona❣Hope to see more of you in the future💟💕
What a great service dog! How old is she? It is good you keep her on commands because if not she would become a family pet only and forget her skill set. Very nice video and I subscribed. Have a good night!
How many hours a day is she working? Will she do the commands even if she's not wearing her vest? And do you take time to play with her when she's not wearing it? Great video, as always, thanks!
Even though I do not know this team personally, I promise you service dogs get lots of time to play and just be a dog!! It's part of what makes them so good at listening and training, because they get all their zoomies out during play time! I have a medical alert and response service dog, and he plays a lot:)
The vest is just to let ppl know its a service animal & not to pet it. Its not worn 24/7. And they gets lots of attention & play time when not working.
Margaret Doyon-Nadeau I used to work for this company and they have a command called “release” which allows them to know when they are allowed to go and be a dog basically. They will do commands when not “working”. But their work load/hours depends on the type of service dog they are. (CCI has a few different types) But they always recommend giving them time to just relax as well.
I used to ride the bus to work, was cheaper and less traffic. On my old commuter bus, there was a visually impaired woman and her dog. I usually say next to her, cause I didn't mind her service dog, needing my leg room. They both taught me a lot about service animals, first unless given clear verbal permission do no touch a service animal. As seen in this video, the vest or harness queues dog to become a service animal. As many have said prior, harness or vest off, the dog become a traditional pet. It will play, be pet, be silly, etc. However, it's still very much aware of it's human and their needs. A good friend has a PTSD and a service dog, I've seen that dog go from pet mode into work mode in seconds. My friend was having a flashback, at a doggie park, when a loud bang came from behind us. The dog was a good fifty yards away, by the time it dawned on me (around 5 seconds), my friends service animal was just that. He cleared that 50 yards in a flash and was doing his job. Animals are amazingly intelligent. Another instance, unbeknownst to us, sitting in the same room my MIL was nearing a diabetic coma. One of our dogs, not trained as a service animal at all, sensed this. He promptly walked to her, put his head in her lap, when she didn't move, he stood on her legs with his front two legs. Once again, she didn't move, next thing he whacks her with his paw to her chest. She didn't move, needless to say the humans took over. But, he never let her out of sight until he sensed she was...ok. Trust me, he's whacked me before to wake my hubs and I for potty time, you get the message. You could be passed out, piss drunk, you'll know when a 100 lb dog smacks you. Somehow, he's never scratched anyone doing this.
I don't know why but this brought tears to my eyes! I can't believe how intelligent dogs can be. I'm so glad you have her and she can help you in so many ways.
SHE IS SO CUTE AND SMART
