For the hydra damage check it's worth remembering that the game attributes all damage done from hex debuffs to the champ that placed the hex. So when Rathalos hits those 1-2 M smacks cupidus will also get credited for 30~40 k. It's not a ton but it inflates his numbers slightly when comparing the two champs.

Much more than that even, if rathalos does 1-2 mil with his a1 or single target a2, which he does often enough, 30% of that dmg goes to cupidus. That is a lot.

Long time monster hunter fan here sir. Its Rath-a-los. One of the flagship Wyverns from the Monster hunter series. A mean bugger that dominate you early game. The Armor in Raid is armor and weapons made from the Wyvern's remains. Love your stuff!

Really excited about this new champ! I did want to mention that cycle of violence mastery does proc on decapitated heads, and is a unique 30% chance alongside reflex/merciless. That is, you can potentially get 2 cooldown reductions on 1 hit. While relentless does get his 5th turn passive up more often, I feel it has a giant drawback of outrunning buffs (even with 1 extender) and it just feels bad when you do your big hit with no buffs up. I'm 100% putting him in my best merciless 4 piece, with a retaliation, and crossing my fingers to get 2 accessories.

I got him today as well I’m trying him out with killstroke,cruel and righteous and a HP ring with substats atk % def % and hp % he seems to be doing well but I think he can be even better great video and informational

I just *finally* pulled Whisper, which I was already really excited about because I had a 6* Awaken waiting for her for ages. It's only a hunch, but I think these two are going to synergise sooo sweetly! Just have to make sure Rathalos is 2 or 3 points faster then Whisper, and the two should be rocking. Not sure either will reach Acrizia levels of awesomeness, but I'm hopeful.

Currently testing him WITH Acrizia, it might be me but if you also pair with an HP Burner, like say Geomancer, he damn near hits like a enemy max hp nuker. Gonna next test in an unkillable team today

Great video again 🔥 question.... I have Big Un' in all my best gear, as I only have like 10 legos in total. His set up as my main nuker with 6.3k attack, 100/130% crit rate/dam, and 200acc.
Do you think Rathalos would be a better option as my main nuker than Big Un? As I have limited gear.

Hey random question lol if I gave you a list of my legendaries could you help me out on who I should focus on? I'm lvl like 56 highest dungeon I get to on average across them all is like 15 if that helps understand where I'm at in the game so speak

I have a question I was looking at the armor sets and I come across hex and I was thinking with this champion I might be overthinking but if I remember correctly a champion under hex gets damaged if another champion on their team is hit what if he attacks them all and they're all under hex does the damage just keep going over and over???

I'm trying to hold off on claiming until champ chase, but can't wait to paly around with him some. One comment I will say, cycling the turns with stuff like counter attack, relentless, etc. may sound like a good idea, but I feel like it might be a bit of a trap compared to getting a speed tune that can make those stars align consistently. Love that the free champ seems like a really good early carry for some areas and will help a lot of new players thanks to the steam release.

The counter atts counting towards the countdown for his 200% dmg is nice but it would really suck to lose that dmg to a counterattack so there is a trade off

I’m playing whilst watching and an offer just popped up for the Monster Hunter Deal (not going to get it), with the most adorable art of a sweet Palico! They’re the cat people who act as aids/sidekicks to your Hunter. Makes me really want Plarium to make some Epic Palicoes to go with the Legendary Blademasters!

Would the Ocational AOE be in the A1 it would be broken really. My first impression was a disapointment. My ronda Outdamaged him in my clan boss unkillable which means i still have a way to go midmaxing him to his full potencial, and add a burner to the team which i dont have

Depends on the sub stats. I believe they're always random so you might want to check all of your gear first. Cruel also won't do anything(other than the attack bonus) when he's ignoring 100% def so keep that in mind.

I'm guessing because his a1 does more damage hitting all the heads. Also he puts an increase attack buff on him himself which opens up the chance to have all of his buffs stolen if his res is low. I was thinking the same thing btw.

I think a 6 piece set of Merciless would be good. Ignore 35% defense, 25% to attack, 30% chance to decrease random skill cooldown. I'm happy with how he's performing in it.

He could smack on the arena too not bad. Unfortunately i dont have that much decent gear for so many champs. Will have him with 5.7 k attack and 260 crit dmg and that's it. Saving gear for zinogre and potentially if the buff for fortus is good. I guess i need to farm dungeons harder. Tbh neglected them for some time since i was lacking good nukers but all of a sudden i got 4 massive ones in September and October.

this dude is so badass, i think the overall rating is ok but the pvp rank was a bit lower than I thought it was going to be; im thinking its because his kit is based on length of battle and arena battles go pretty quickly..just my opinion

So something about his kit has me a tad confused. His A2 states "Attacks 1 enemy. Every second use of this skill in a ROUND will attack all enemies instead." The way you were speaking was every second time it is used it will attack all enemies but clearly it states in a round. Watching your hydra fight it was every second use it seemed. Who's round are they referring to? If it were actually a round then retaliation would be hugely beneficial I would think.

What about the often overlooked clan shop Revenge accessories. A 5% counter attack chance is actually amazing. I have a lot of those accessories on my champions. Some matches have been won because of those.
