Adam, I'm a straight woman, and I must say, YOU are the most handsome man on the planet! I'm happy you are using your fame to help others get through a very turbulent time. I'm positive one day, because of people like you, this problem for youths, or anyone for that matter, will be moot.
@Danni, Why do you have to clarify that you are "straight" and a "woman"? Is Adam not still the most handsome man on the planet without the unnecessary adjective and noun? I'm pretty sure Adam Lambert would never say "you're the most beautiful woman on the planet for a straight woman", if he ever met you. He was just acknowledge your beauty. I'm sorry, but it just kills me that everyone has to use clarification adjectives when talking about another human being. It doesn't matter whether you're straight, gay, black, brown, white, rich, poor, Catholic, atheist...I could go on and on. It only matters that you're a human being. It's time we stop putting labels in front of everybody.
I bring that up, because of my name. Most online people refer to me as Sir.
And, because most people say 'I'm a gay man, and...or, I'm trans, and...I was trying to let people know that ALL people love Adam...even straight women. Read through the comments, and tell me that nobody mentions there gender, or sexuality and WHY I can't?
@@danni1993 I never said you couldn't say any of those things oh, make no mistake about that! And I didn't comment on anyone else's comments, or in fact read any further than the first two, because in those first two I saw where people felt the need to clarify their sexual status or acceptance of someone else's sexual status and it just irritated me. The whole world needs to just relax and stop labeling people and the world also needs to stop making people feel like they need to clarify their feelings to be PC. As for people thinking that your name is masculine then they're idiots! How many men spell their name Danni anyway? And if people think that you're trans or gay or whatever they think you are and even happened to call you sir, let them be in their stupidity. There's nothing wrong with correcting someone when they have gotten something wrong. I am sorry that you're the position where all of that bothers you so much. I was simply trying to bring to your attention the fact that maybe it bothers Adam Lambert as much as it bothers me to always have people quantify a compliment, their love of his voice or talent and his compassion with the words "I am straight woman who/and". "I am a straight man who/" or even worse, "Even though Adam is Gay". Imagine how that would make you feel if you were in his shoes. I bet it's not a stretch to say that it would make you feel as bad as when other people make incorrect assumptions about you based on your name. Of course you went on the defensive attack instead of just taking my comment as food for thought. It truly was a rhetorical question that didn't require an answer. It was simply designed to make you think. So on that note... I'm out of here.

It's wonderful to see that Adam is as much a remarkable human being as he is a remarkable entertainer. That he uses his position to promote understanding and education. The work this center is doing is truly exemplary, and is probably even saving the lives of many young people.
I’m getting Gender Care in Israel for two years now, I always took my mom with me to let her in on this topic, I find that doctors who care specifically for Gender Non Conforming folks are very helpful with health in general - and integrate Gender-Mental-Physical in the great picture of General Health Care, and give the specific special little things and acknowledgement that I felt like I seeked for.
I absolutely love this. So many children learn early on that they’re gay, bi or feel trapped in the wrong body; for example, a boy feeling like he should be a girl. We as parents don’t take our children seriously enough and we should to get them the help and support that they need. Parents of these children need to be informed and receive help and support. Thank you Adam Lambert for doing this. My children and I are not going through this, but I know people who have. They deserve just as much love, care, support and medical/health care as my children and I do. Thank you Adam Lambert so much for sharing this. ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks Adam for creating an opportunity for this conversation! I am a trans/non-binary therapist/ educator here in Victoria, BC. In Canada we are privileged to have support from the government for many things and yet there are a lot of things we can improve upon. As such, it is very interesting to see what other folks/ organizations are doing and what we can learn from you. Ie. I really like the holistic/ integrative approach that you folks take. Keep up the good work!
Adam you are a truly inspirational person my daughter came out when she was 13 eight years ago and I could not have been more prouder of her to be true to yourself is the greatest gift you can give to yourself I love my daughter so much and she has not had it easy she has lost friends gained friends but not once has she ever given up so I just want to thank you for being you because you probably don't realise the impact you have on people and I hope one day we can all live together as a united community not a divided community and with all the centres made available for help and guidance it will be a beautiful world for our children and our future generations thank you from a very proud mum in Australia xxx

I have been donating to the Feel Good Foundation for awhile. And am so glad the Foundation is going to be helping trans people in a pro-active way. One of my younger female family members was dating a young man and during the relationship he started transitioning to female and my family member stayed with him/her for the beginning process. Eventually they went separate ways when it was time for them to move on, but proud of my family member for caring enough to help in the process. (We are a very diverse family with my gay ex-husband and a child who is gay.) Have always been so impressed that you are who you are and are such a great role model for the gay community. Keep up the great work. This program was very informative.
My English is not very good, so I can't understand some words. But that doesn't stop me from loving the man. Not only does he know who he is, but he helps others who need help. I love a kind and responsible person like him, but I swear I only fall in love with him. Because he's the only the one.

And I googled the Gender Unicorn graphic - it is very cute and so clear if people need help understanding the differences between gender identity, gender expression, sex, sexual attraction, romantic attraction. I am really glad that Feel Something Foundation is helping trans kids. Good luck reaching the fundraising goal!

A very interesting panel, about time this topic was taken seriously and out in the open.. Hopefully it will help the youth of today to have a better understanding of their feelings and sexuality and not ostracise them like in times gone by. You say you had a tough time as a teenager Adam, thankfully you had amazing parents to give you understanding and guidance, not all children have this. It is very noble of you to take up the cause for those teens, a true humanitarian. 😀

I am a foster carer and I have fostered a diverse range of fabulous young people over the years. The local authority that I work for does not offer any information at all on how to help and support young people from the LGBTQ Community. When I have asked the relevant social workers if it would possible for them to set up a training day for foster carers so we can learn and understand how we can best support our young people and be their advocates, I am just fobbed off. It feels like children in foster care are the forgotten ones, and it's p*****g me off. That's it, I'll get down off my soap box now. Sorry!!! 😊

Charmaine Mr. Sciamba under estimates the process. A person can not walk in and say I want HRT or top/bottom surgery. They go through intensive therapy. HRT can be reversed, surgery doesn’t occur until a physician and psychiatrist and therapist signs off. I work with trans students and none of these kids have even considered surgical interventions until they over 18 and have had intensive counseling. In the end they have to live their true authentic lives.
