Controlled and thought of doesn't equal perfection. Imperfect can be intentional and curated. 😅
I like how the main entrance opens directly into the courtyard. I'm also a big fan of houses that don't have fences or gates. They nailed the design while ensuring the house remains secure and private.
I am in love with this house! The balance between form and function is harmonious.
The laundry area at the second level is a brilliant idea! Very functional and efficient.
The skylight's part blows me. It's truly a well design house.
This house is just "wow"! Congratulations to the architect/owner and their young family. I especially liked the skylight, the big windows and the privacy integrated outside ( through the unassuming front door/gate) and inside the house (through the barn door upstairs). I am an aspiring architect by heart and the design I've seen in your house translates some of the ideas in my head that I would like to someday apply in our future house renovation.
If by any chance/luck strikes, it would be a very big help if you could be able to check my design for our future house renovation. I am living in a tropical country, the Philippines. I have no experience in dealing with an architect and only have a modest budget for the renovation of our family home for my senior citizen parents but I have lots of design ideas. "KAMI" in the Philippines also refer to "US", what a nice concept! love it!
Wow, interesting fact. "Kami" also have the same meaning in Indonesia (and Malaysia, I suppose).
A well designed home is a joy to live in. I love the modern farmhouse but could not imagine how it could be adapted to the tropics. Thank you for showing us how. This house is certainly inspirational.

@@designseedstudio: I wonder how they keep those closed roof glass near that allows the natural light to come in from the roof situated near the sharing wall to be so pristinely clean without any accumulation of dried leaves and gunk from the sloped roof that the rain may bring wash down

I looove the entrance and courtyard idea. It feels so safe, and I love the exposed storage right after the entrance too. The laundry area gives off such a happy vibe too, lol, so the homeowners can feel happy doing chores as well. The only thing I didn't like was how the you can see the master bathtub/shower entrance right from the hallway. It's okay when the kids are small but I imagine it would get awkward when they're teens and going upstairs at the wrong time.
I've seen a lot of beautiful houses, but this one is IT!!!!!

I came across your channel by chance some months ago. I loved this video. I never thought of myself to be into architectural designs but whenever I see a home, I start remodeling in my head. 😅😅 My house is a resell, a little under 2k sq space. It's a split floorplan with an open concept kitchen. I have a bonus room the lenth of my garage. It's just me, my dad, and my cats. And the house is too small. Well, the kitchen is too small.
The issue I'm going to be facing is remodeling the kitchen. I'm going to do some remodeling to the other rooms. One at a time. However, it's the kitchen that's going to be the most challenging. OH, BOY!! 😅😅 But I loved everything in this video. They utilized every space and made it count. My favorites: the corner office and living room opening up to the courtyard garden.

challenges with my current house : 1) damped ceiling and walls ;2) have space but totally unorganised
my wants- 1) nice minimalist , functional interior where i dont put things together just only for the look but also everything has its function; 2) to have a small swimming pool just few inches below the window of my bedroom
