I made a primitive surgical tape version of these like 25 years ago since I slept in a really cold place and my face would freeze - so I found that it really did pull the face up and seemed also to last a bit - so this may also be 'therapeutic' in that it helps the face to heal in some way - food for thought

There's a bunch of videos of older women trying them, watch their content if that's what you want to see a demo of. Women in their 20s use use them too to achieve a certain aesthetic or for more subtle signs of aging. Most young people don't have flawless skin (doubt the model's is under her makeup) but see pictures on social media and think that's what theirs should look like, using a younger model shows people that it's all just tricks of the trade and that all the flawless taut skin isn't real at any age.

I'm just saying, showing this on a girl with absolutely perfect skin doesn't really show how wonderful the product can be.

I think it is elastic string attached to essentially 'bandaid' type tape - maybe try and make one - I am a guy and made something like this years ago sleeping in a really cold room - my face would freeze - used elastic and surgical tape and it did pull back the skin and seemed to be therapeutic not just cosmetic

The big question is whether this is therapeutic or just cosmetic - The logic for therapeutic is it helps the damaged skin cells heal - but some logic says it would stretch the skin more making a worse situation - I'm not sure which - maybe there are studies on this process
