Danial Craig: I want out of the 007 franchise
No Time to Die: *announced*
Danial Craig: Ah shit, here we go again
You missed spectre, he said he wanted out after skyfall
Too bad i like him
I saw that on twitter
"007 in New York" sounds like a title for a Mr. Bean movie.
Roger Moore was once in a film called Sherlock Holmes in New York so he could have made this while he was there.
Haha
John Smith most definitely does
He also was in NYC in part of Live and Let Die.
Johnny English
There is missing this:
Timothy Dalton was the first Bond actor who did his own stunts and read all the books from the franchise.
+Pedro Alexandre Dillemburg Great fact!
Pedro Alexandre Dillemburg No roger Moore did a stunt in spy who loved me when he went off the cliff while skiing.
The Gaming Player well Moore as Lazenby did part of theyr stunts, but Dalton was the firs that did all of his own stunts.
In 1977 Roger Moore was asked by a reporter if he did his own stunts, with a smile Sir Roger replied " of course I do, I also do my own lying."
A Nice Name For Jason Vorhees Movie
Bonus Fact: Christopher Lee was the step cousin of Ian Fleming
Missing this fun fact, James Bond (naval officer) was born in 1945 and was invited to film premieres of the movies his name is in. Australian officer in the navy but he died in 2016.
James Bond was named by creator Ian Fleming after an American ornithologist named James Bond who wrote the book Birds Of The West Indies.
The Sean Connery Bond hated the Beatles in Goldfinger. In Quantum of Solace, Agent Fields first name was Strawberry.
@Bad Cattitude seems like Paul didn't gave a sh*t about Connery's 007 quote
I actually met the actor who played Jaws. He was such a nice guy!
your mama You should’ve met him during before September 10 2014 because that was the date Richard Kiel, who played Jaws died
@@the_slime_cat It was in 2003 if I'm remembering correctly, maybe 2002. At the Cleveland Hopkins Intl Airport Sheraton hotel. It's kind of attached to the airport.
your mama Alright. Thanks for answering my question!
@@the_slime_cat No problem! He was awesome! He even took a couple pictures with us and one of them he held both of my little cousins for! Such a cool down to earth guy!
"Let's get our bondage on"
Me: Kinky already? this is gonna be a great video
On Her Majesty's Secret Service has 2 Bond film only's:
The only film where he gets married (You Only Live Twice doesn't count) abd the only film where you see him in his office at his desk writing out his resignation.
You forgot that Bond isn't a spy, he is an assassin. This is because mi6 never wanted him to find information, just to kill the bad guys. Also, if a spy was expected by a bad guy, like Bond always is, he would loose his job, but Bond still has his.
From Russia With Love is called : 007 In Istanbul in finland! :D
Torille!
Daniel Craig as James Bond escorted the Queen during the opening ceremony of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.
That's fucking awesome.
isn't it ironic that sean Connery was seen a huge gamble as james bond yet became arguably the best ever, hey I'm a scot and bond to be biased😛
The best facts video on CZcams! Thank you for posting this!
+Almedin Ibisevic Wow! That's quite the compliment. Thanks Almedin.
When Pierce Brosnan said they should do a darker and more grittier Bond movie they gave him "Die Another Day"
What a shame!
He wanted his Bond films to be more like Goldeneye which was originally written for Timothy Dalton which is why it is a darker film as didn’t make a lot of changes to the films script to avoid more production delays after Dalton resigned in 1994.
In 1993 Timothy Dalton was meant to do the film of a property of a lady but it never happened and he was also meant to do on her majesty’s secret service but felt he was too young for the bond role
There was a Casino Royals TV Film in the early 50's so that makes 24 official eon films and 3 unrelated spinoffs
"007 actors."
What about Barry Nelson who played the role in the 1954 adaptation of Casino Royale?
Elvis Presley not so trash as Casino Royale '67. I enjoy Casino Royale '54 compare with that.
What about...bullshit..
American adaptation for tv...parody-comedy...also 2nd one...the real one is masterpeace with Daniel Craig and Eva Green....
yea I remember, that was one freaked out cat in that scene, and the guy who played Blofelt was struggling to hold it.
actually property of a lady was adapted as part of octopussy
15:49 Missed an opportunity to point out Goldeneye on the N64.
“Welsh grass enthusiast Tom Jones”
Dead 😭
RIP Sean Connery.
102: His name is Bond. James Bond.
"Actor and PART TIME IMPROVISATIONAL COMEDIAN Liam Neeson..." For that reference, subbed. Also, "I just came back from the doctor. I have AIDS."
Given Bond villains love for underground lairs, in WW2, Ian Fleming's brother was responsible for organizing a resistance movement in Britain if the Nazi's invaded. Scattered across the country were hidden bunkers stocked with arms & supplies where 4 man resistance cells could lie low and not risk being compromised by local collaborators. Apparently Christopher Lee who played Francisco Scaramanga was loosely related to both Ian Fleming and J.R.R. Tolkien. After the death of his parents, Bond is supposed to have been raised by a maiden aunt, who shipped him off to Eton at the first opportunity, however he was expelled for some unspecified scandal and then enrolled at Fettes near Edinburgh... where co-incidentally Sean Connery at one time delivered milk to on one of his rounds. Also at Fettes, a real James Bond studied... he went on to become a SBS swimmer/canoeist (for those of you in the U.S. think Navy Seal UDT member) in WW2. (There was also a "Monypenny" educated at Fettes - Charleton Monypenny, sprinter, who held the 150 metre record in the 1890's)
no distracting background music - lovely!
good video, interesting to watch, and not dragged out much for a video containing 101 facts. Good job!
I love the Brosnan era, but somehow Lazenby was a close second!
crocs were wired down and a stunt man did the run
In Swedish, From Russia With Love was called "Agent 007 Ser Rött" meaning "Agent 007 Sees Red"
there were 3 spin off films
casino royale 1954
casino royale 1967
never say never again
Well to be fair, the 1954 TV movie was not really a spin off as the film series had not happened yet....
Never Say Never Again was Connery saying fuck you to Moore.
@@tricky2055 actually to Broccoli.
I'm a huge fan of James bond !
In your list of actors who've played Bond you left out Barry Nelson who played Bond in an adaptation of CASINO ROYALE for the anthology series Climax! in 1954.

Why
Daniel O'Connell He said he's doen with Bond
+Elizabeth Merkens yes but he is willing to take disneys blood money to star as a storm trooper in a i minuet seen where is is mind tricked by the the chick who just discovered that the force is a thing and only learned that she had it 5 minuets earlier god that was a awful film
Well looks like he's going to slit his throat
Before playing James Bond, Roger Moore played a recurring role in Maverick, a late ‘50’s US western television series.
3 vids and over 2,000 subs
Shows how great you are!!
Maybe you should have mentioned a few little known facts about Ian Fleming. Such as he actually did work for MI6 during WWII. Or that he actually wrote a children's book because his children complained that he was always writing "Bond books." What was the name of the children's book you ask? Why it was a book made into a movie by Disney studios titled "Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang."
“007 Diverted the Spy Plot” is a HILARIOUS translation
I've been to James Bond Island. So cool!!!
You mean Scaramangas island
@@denisewoodford9250 Yes is Called "James Bond Island" literally lol near phi phi island and phuket.
The James Bond codename theory a popular fan theory??? Funny...
Maybe a casual viewer of the films would believe the codename theory, but an actual fan of Bond would know that the codename theory does not hold up at all.
It's no way a popular theory.
It makes me laugh that it's classed as a 'fan' theory.......when any real fan would know it's completely non sensical.
+Dylan8888888888 also he already has a codename, 007 obviously
+Tommy Carr its even more non sensical to believe that bond is in his 90s
Dylan8888888888 u see the thing is idris Elba who plays heimdall in the Mcu is next in line to play bond and he is a black man so u can’t tell me that randomly a white person becomes black? So I sorta believe it

Great Start!!
The double decker bus!
Good list!
so weird watching this 5 years later and your voice sam isn't all hyper like now
"This was actually allowed to happen." What was? I don't get it.
Sean Connery being dressed up like an Asian man.
And I read recently that Craig was offered LODES OF EMONE to stay on for the next two films.
8 years before Connery in 1954 American actor Barry Nelson was the first portrayl of James Bond on television with the adaptation of Casino Royal. Gert Frobe (Goldfinger) was not the only star to have their voice re-dubbed by another actor, the same thing happened to Ursula Andress in Dr. No. The reason why EON films was unable to stop the release of Sean Connery's Never Say Never Again goes back to the early 1960's when Ian Fleming was working on a tv script with writer Kevin McClory. When the tv deal fell through Ian Fleming took parts of that tv script and put them into the novel Thunderball. McClory sues Fleming for plagarism and wins in 1965 which is why you see his name in the film credits. The court gave him the right to also make his own Bond film, but not for 10 years (1975). The end result being Never Say Never Again and oddly enough Connery looks better in that film than in Diamonds Are Forever.
Also George Lazenby was dubbed at some parts of On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Well done!

What did James Bond do in the Royal Navy? How did he come to the attention of MI6?
James Bond served in the Royal Navy rising up to rank of Commander. He was an orphan as a young child losing his parents so when he was hired by M16 he had no next of kin and with the nature of the job he was perfect as his boss hired him as felt Bond didn’t have any personal ties to family and could become the best assassin.
