OneNUHS Fight Song: A Tribute to Our Nurses!

Nurses’ Day is always special to us. This year, we cannot gather as OneNUHS family to give thanks to this biggest group of healthcare professionals but that has definitely not stopped us from doing something special for them. Stepping out of their comfort zones - our Chief Executive, Deputy Chief Executives, Group Chief Nurse, Chief Nurses, senior management, clinicians, allied health and admin colleagues took to the mike with our talented bunch of nurses and gave a most powerful rendition of the 'Fight Song' by Rachel Platten. And we are so happy to have the very talented home-grown a capella group - MICappella - orchestrating and singing with us as part of this OneNUHS debut!
COVID-19 has dominated headlines and impacted lives globally. Our nurses have been at the frontline from day one. Putting their own safety on the line - for us, for our patients, for the nation. We know you will fight on.
This is just one of the many ways to mark this special occasion. A fitting tribute to say a big THANK YOU!
To all nurses in the OneNUHS family and to the larger nursing community, thank you for watching over us, protecting and caring for us at the frontline! To your professionalism, dedication and steadfastness, we salute you!
