Hi Stebob: as a Seahawks watcher, I love the trade down with Carolina. I’m not sure how Carolina fans are going to feel about Anthony Richardson but it’s either going to prove to be a brilliant move or a bust with him and only time will tell. As for Seattle’s pick at 9, I also like them having their pick of the corners and would be happy with either Christian Gonzalez or Devon Witherspoon. So good work. I like your thinking.

As a Seahawks fan, there's so much options. I suggest people not to get too caught up with one or two players. I also want us going after Daron Payne in FA

I have a sense that there will be several teams who are eager to try to acquire Daron Payne this offseason, and it will take a lot of money to come out on top of that bidding frenzy. I think the Seahawks could do better spending their cap space in other ways.
as a cardinals fan the best thing that could happen would be for the bears to trade to a qb needy team and then have their choice between carter and anderson.
As a panthers fan the reason most of the other panthers fans like Richardson is because he is very similar to Cam Newton… I personally like Hooker, honestly think Levis will be the guy we get 😂 Great Show

Bresee would be good at 18. But don’t be surprised if Mr Holmes goes with Bijan if he’s available. Can you imagine him with that O Line? We still have 3 more picks in the next 60 picks for D fence. And FA. Yeah they be scoring at Will.
Bijan in Detroit would be insane to watch. I wouldn't be against it

Hawks in the Carrol/Schnider era have never selected a CB earlier than 3rd round. And they both have said they would be dedicated to getting bigger and meaner in the trenches. They will not go corner... Also you mentioned Bresee and wondered what was wrong with his 2022 season. First he had a non-football related medical issue...something to do with his blood that they were monitoring. Second his sister died in Sept. 2022. Third, he still wasn't 100% from his 2021 injury. A lot of factors that weighed him down in 2022. Finally just one critique, you contradict yourself a lot in this video. This is where having a game plan can be helpful. But all in all I can appreciate you putting yourself on the firing line with this mock. Very little that I personally agree with on the actual selections but it's still fun to get people's opinions.
yeah I know Bresee had a lot going on this season, I want to dive a bit deeper into his film because I'm unsure how to feel about him at the moment. But thank you for the constructive criticism, I appreciate you watching and giving your opinion

I am going to be one of those people who say they hated this draft. Iam a Lions fan. I feel the most forgotten position and biggest need is CB.Brian Bresee is a good DT but so is Gervon Dexter and Mazi Smith. I would pick Devon Witherspoon @ 6 and take Bijon Robinson @18. Love Swift but he hasn't played enough. Think the Lions ahould go LB and DT with their 3rd and 4th pick. Definitely think you're letting PFF determine your picks.
I can respect that opinion, but I promise I'm not letting them determine my picks lol. Breese is a top 7 or so player for most and I had you guys taking him at 18, just thought the value at a position of need. I can understand what you're saying tho, the more I think about it I could see Bijan at 18. Thank you for your feedback

Bengals picked up Jonah Williams 5th nd option 12 million Jackson Carmen filled in ok natural position. We had 3 lineman to down. Bengals won't trade Jonah eat 12 million cap hit. Going to lose Bates and Pratt future Boyd or Higgins I hope we go Darnell Washington 6th lineman and receiver threat

@JDJ M. now that I think about it you may mean the Texans lmao, but I am just very high on Flowers, genuinely would rather them take Johnston lmao. And I have them getting the better of the top 2 QBs at second overall, I try not to be biased haha

Here's an interesting twist to our draft. Let me know what you think. It's a bit long, but I think you will like it:
The Bears trade #1 to either the Raiders, Panthers, Falcons, Seahawks, Lions, Commanders, or whoever. Let's just say they trade it outside the top 4. Then that team takes Bryce Young, and the Texans take Stroud. Then AZ takes Will Anderson. Rather than going Levis, lets do something that no one will be expecting. Take Jalen Carter at #4, then QB Hendon Hooker at #35 and the best RG available at #80.
Granted, this is a big risk considering the Saints pick at #29, and they will surely pick him there, but we could always trade back up to #28 and grab him there plus get the 5th year option for maybe a 2024 3rd rounder. Plus, I imagine the Bengals will want an O-lineman and there should still be some available at #35.
This way, we get a generational talent and game wrecker to make our defense complete, plus our franchise QB. Hendon Hooker is pretty good, he just doesn't have the upside of Levis, Stroud or Young and is 25 coming off an ACL injury. Having him plus Carter would be a home run, IMO. And yes, I know that Carter is a DT, but he can play any position on the D-line. Just imagine moving him and Buckner around. Buckner rushes while Carter plays the 3-tech and vise versa. That combination with Stewart and Paye up front would not only collapse the pocket so damn quickly, it would also make it damn near impossible to run on us since all 4 are excellent against the run. And that's not even including Maniac, Zaire and Speed at LB who are all tackling machines.
Jalen Hurts was a 2nd round QB, so don't tell me we can't get the job done with Hooker and a defense that good. The Legion of Boom went to two superbowls with a 3rd round QB. Defense wins championships. So long as we have a somewhat competent offense and the right HC plus Hooker and JT. Consistent pass rush was the one thing our defense was lacking last season. Get Carter or Anderson and our defense would be good enough to get a ring.
I am intrigued by the idea of taking Jalen Carter absolutely. Hooker is a bit of a question mark to me, but a 2nd round pick isn't too much of an investment. I like the idea of bolstering the defense for sure tho, could be awesome

Tim Tebow is arguably the best college qb of this generation and was awful in the pros. College career doesn't equate to NFL career. Hooker could be good, he has some good traits and was great in college, but at his age coming off of an acl tear while playing in a pretty simple offense and having questions marks makes me apprehensive
As an Eagles fan I will again say I want Joey Porter Jr at 10. And damn I hate you so much for having Bijon last that far, and giving him to the Cowboys. I need him to be an eagle
I don't have a problem with Porter at 10. I love Bijan and struggle every time I do a mock with where to put him haha. I love the player but he could go almost anywhere. Probably a top 20 lock but I just have no clue where
