I have a 8'' front and 6'' back flatline stabs on a Phase 4. When I hold out my bow with the quiver on it and minimal hand pressure it sits straight up. Nice and compact for hunting, minimal added weight.
Congrats! I use Bee Stinger stabs, a 15” front bar w/4oz’s and 10” back bar w/6oz’s and that’s where everything balanced out for me and my float slow down a lot. Love your vids and keep up the good work.
Currently running a 12" cutter stabalizer out front with i think 4oz of weight on on a podium archery offset bracket, 8" cutter on the back with 1oz. Two bowtech orbit dampners on the left side off the bow, this allows me to have a nuetral bow with a 6 arrow tightspot 1pc quiver with 5 of my hunting arrows in it.
The back bar in this setup isn't exactly needed, but i like to have it so i can place the bow on my hip.
Congratulations on 1,000 subs! You definitely deserve it after posting such great videos! I'm still playing around with stabilizers for this year. I think I'm going to run a 10" front and a 6" or 8" back bar. It depends on how it all shoots as season comes closer.
Mathews bridge lock 12 inch front and 8 inch back 2 oz on front and 5 on the back great set up
Great video. Enjoy all the content. I'm currently running the viper 12" in the front and 10" on the back.
SAS 12” up front with 2 oz and a SAS 6” with 4 oz in the back. Amazon specials but they work and feel great
Appreciate the information in the video! Have been looking into getting some stabilizers to replace my black mountain 6" on the front.
Currently running just the 6in hitman stabalizer by trophy ridge. It came with my bow when purchased. Currently have 4oz total weight after purchasing the trophy ridge weight kit.
Love it! Thanks for the comment, boss!
I use a set of Firenock titanium 10” on front with hamskea hunter With 3oz and back bar 6” with hamskea hunter 5 oz.
Currently the CBE TORX combo. On an Elite Ritual 33
I was watching this trying to figure out what to put on my new bow. Thanks for the info
Im running a 11" elite bar with a 7 inch back on my omnia. Keep up the vids man they are great
When I was trying to explain stabilizers to a buddy I used the analogy of a tight rope walker with the long pole to help keep there balance
Currently running a 10” Bowtech centermass on the front with nothing on back. About to move the 10” to back and put 12” in front and go from there.
I’ve got a bee stinger 12” on my current bow but I’ve got a 15” conquest with a 12” back bar coming
Great video I have a a 15in with 2oz on front and a 10in on the back with 6oz. Dead center in the brand
Currently using a dead center 12" and 8" with 3 oz on front and 5 on the back. Definitely looking to upgrade.
I have a 15in wickstick with 4oz out front and a 12in wickstick back bar with 9oz on it. I found this to be the best set up on my Xpedite NXT for 3D. For hunting I take the back bar off and just go with the 15in up front. Keep up the great content.
I appreciate the support!
That sounds like a great setup, I’ve definitely ran into situations where running no back bar was the way to go. I’m completely ignorant to the kind of hunting up in Nova Scotia, what do you normally do? Is it more treestand/spot hunting or open ground/spot and stalk?
@joshuadouglasarchery normally treestand or ground blind. Our woodland is quite dense and thick, which makes almost impossible to spot and stalk. I still try it once in a while but just end up shaking my head in defeat.
using the cbe torx kit on an older bow without a rear bushing
I currently use a 9" stabilizer with 5.6 oz of weight on it. I just switched recently from an s coil and while I do notice a bit more noise on my shot, I do like the extra stability.
I am running custom stabilizers that I made front bar is 12 inches back bar is 7 inches. great video I love how your channel is growing.
I appreciate it, thanks boss!
Female subscriber here: I'm just running a simple and cheap amazon 8" stabilizer on the front of an older model bow that i currently have. Looking into getting the Eva Shockey Gen 3 for the 25/26 season and I'm going to run a front and rear stabilizer for that bow! And a huge CONGRATS to your new partnership!!
The Eva gen 3 looks like a pretty great bow, sounds like you’re cooking up a pretty killer rig!
Also, glad I actually have women watching my content and I have tons of respect for being a female archer/hunter! I think there is a fine line between glorifying female shooters because at the end of the day we’re all hunters/shooters, and I think doing it too much implies that guys are almost surprised when a women can hold their own in archery.
but at the same time there is a level of respect I think anyone should have for women getting into a very male dominated spot. Keep rocking it!!
@@joshuadouglasarchery I appreciate it! Looking forward to your next video!
I have a Bear Whitetail Maxx with a 12" Hitman with 4oz. in an offset mount. It allows me to eliminate a back bar and the extra weight while being very stable for me.
That sounds like a great rig! How to you like the whitetail maxx? I’ve been looking into for my fiancee
Nice I have not seen your stuff and first video that popped up after watching an MFJJ video. I just got my first bow it’s an Elite Ethos and not a lot left over after the bow so I got a cheap Redline sight and 8in stabilizer from them. Saving up for a back bar a bracket now. I enjoyed the video and will have to check out the others.
You made a pretty solid pick for a first bow! Redline makes some great stuff. But who knows, you might not need to get a back bar if you win the giveaway!
I currently run a 12" Beestinger with 4oz of weight.
Shrewd 10” front no back and about 3oz
I am running a 10 inch front with 4oz no back bar for hunting . Trophy ridge.
Bee stinger 10" front with 2 ounces, bee stinger 8" with 4 ounces on the back
mathews bridge lock 10 inch!
Bee stinger 12 inch
I run the Podium Archery Narrow 12 and 8 inch front/ back with 5 ounces and 10 ounces
Awesome! Love MFJJ and his love of the sport.
I think guys like him and Brian from catalyst will hopefully open eyes at how marked up products in the archery space are. It seems like over the last few years it’s turned into more of a marketing game than a product game.
These catalyst bars are legit from any testing I’ve done with them! Super lightweight and tough!!
I have a 6 inch front stabilizer but I think its around 6 to 8 oz
On my Hoyt Alpha X I'm running a 6" up front with the go-stiks and an 8" rear! Still tinkering!
Those Go-sticks are such a good tool!
Currently running 14 on front love the video great job God bless
I appreciate it!
I got an 8" amazon special to start off with. I think I need to go longer. Only front, no rear.
Nothing wrong with an Amazon special! Thanks for the continued support.
I am a cheapskate and have made 2 of my own stabilizers. I have never used any other stabilizer on my bows, so it would be interesting to try the Catalyst stabilizer. Thanks for the opportunity.
That’s true DIY!!

I'm using cheap Amazon stabilizers right now xxiaojun 10" front and 8" rear
How you doing bro . I like your videos a lot. I run a Shrewd Vantage Series, 12" upfront with 3oz with 9" back bar with 6oz on my Hoyt Rx7 Ultra. Great videos keep up the good work...
Killer setup! Thank you for the support!
Great video you explained it very well. Been enjoying the videos. Congratulations on the partnership.
Thank you for the support!
Running a 30" front an no back stab
I am running just an 8" front bar with 4 oz
Awesome!!
Redline 10in 3 degree down QD
Love it! Redline and catalyst are doing great things with helping people realize how overpriced stabs are nowadays!
I was just getting ready to order a new stabilizer. Maybe I will get lucky! Lol, I never win anything. Thanks for all your videos! I am using Trophy Ridge 10in front and 8in back. Have another bow and have to take off one to put on the other to shoot. Thanks again!
Anytime! If you don’t end up winning still check Brian and catalyst out, great products!
@@joshuadouglasarchery Will do! Thanks
I'm a little late, but congrats Josh!
12 out front 8 out the back
Well, I guess that means no chance for the giveaway. I don't do IG, FB, or other Social Media. 😮
You can enter on CZcams as well, and I’ll consider this comment your entry!!
I don’t have a stabilizer set up 🤷🏾♂️
Sounds like you might need one! Perfect time for a giveaway.
@@joshuadouglasarchery that’s a fact lol
