@@ryanmahon1 That's the most ridiculous thing I've seen for a while. How can someone lead all of them simultaneously? The highlights show his increased number of shot attempts, which is fine. You would normally expect a decrease in assist numbers. But no. He increased his assist numbers too.
I am a lifelong Larry Bird fan so it is no wonder I enjoy watching the Joker play.

We just watched a good argument for best postseason all time, especially considering he had zero other all-stars on his team and Denver dominated. All the other teams who dominated like that almost all had at least 2 all-time greats. Not only does jokic not have another ATG, he doesn't even have another all-star. Man's insane. He's starting to get his full recognition, but I think it's still not fully set in what he's doing.

2016 is really hard to beat honestly. best record of all time, stephs mvp and records, kobes last game with over 60. so even the regular season was goated not only the 3-1 comeback in the finals.
edit: but this year might be the most competitive, so unbelievably many teams competing. the nba needs an expansion, theres almost too much talent in the NBA right now.

One of my favorite things about jokic is watching how aggravated the opposing players get. Their body language is always "WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THIS"

Fun to watch. Doesn't need explosiveness to dominate. 2 dunks in a 20 minute highlights was fun to watch. Jokic is one of a kind. We're lucky to witness the greatness of this guy.
Looks to me like he could score every time he gets the ball and mostly decides to pass anyways. Incredible.
Just crossed my mind that he is. perhaps, saving energy lol. Scoring in the post is surely more tiring than passing. Not saying it in a negative way, tho. Avoids potential injuries as well.

This dude is unreal! The craziest part is as a fan, I myself have become accustomed at this point. We know if Murray or any core piece is missing this man steps and shows that he can not just be the best teammate you can ask for but simultaneously be the best player on the planet.

many people wont give him the credit he deserves but he does deserve it. every single thing you can do on offense he does at an elite level. like best ever at it levels. nobody else has ever had that.
I've never seen a player move so deliberately and efficiently that it looks like he's slow, but he's still moving and thinking and makes the defense look like they're caught in mud.
That's what makes him who he is. Highest IQ player, and (one of) the most skilled players ever. Just understands the game at such a fundamental level that nothing he does "looks" impressive - obviously outside his passing. His footwork and movement on the court is nothing short of perfect.
This kid is something special, it's like he's in a different league.
TWENTY minutes of highlights for one month of play. And none of them are bad :)

He's putting incredible stats, Murray is injured and they had one of the thoughest schedule, 21 games, 5 back-to-back. Yet they're still 3rd seed and undeafeated at home, the other MVP candidate don't have better seed AND better numbers.
Problem for most other candidates is that they an allstar/allnba teammate which sometimes is almost as good as them, Lillard is an allnba player, Maxey is playing at an allnba level too, Tatum number aren't high enough and his team has like 4 allstars, SGA numbers not high enough, Doncic has the best stats but the record isn't that great.
@@20dieux last year Khris Middleton missed 50 games and the NBA, Bucks were number overall and the NBA still wanted to give Jokic the MVP. Can you tell me why Giannis was not the MVP last season?

@@20dieux so the Bucks didn't have Khris Middleton for 50 games, Bucks had the best record overall, Giannis averaged 30, 11 and 5.7. Joker and the Nuggets had the 4th best record with Joker averaging 25, 11 and 9.8. So Joker averaging 4.1 more assists more than Giannis is the reason he was the MVP? And Giannis averaged 7 more points than him

He's had about 7 last couple years. His 1st and 2nd MVP he had multiple each year. He's elite cutting. Team can't pass. He's had couple euros too. Mainly slower lbj harden physical secure ones. If you missed his last 3 years you missed out on goat player

This is the highest skill peak we’ve ever seen in basketball. No he’s not “greater” than mj or bron or Steph or others in terms of his impact on the game…yet… but he’s the most skilled and complete player in history and I stamp that.
I understand what you're getting at. A tweet I read put it best: "he has no flaws offensively". I would say, he probably has the safest/most trustworthy hands to put the ball into, on AVERAGE, across any position on the floor: fast break runner/passer/cutter, "Football No.10" on the free-throw line, footwork/back down in the paint, heaving 3-point buzzer beaters.
During my 20 years of watching basketball and prior knowledge of the league. I don't recall seeing anybody close to score that efficiently and effective. At this point, im counting his misses.
The only player not drafted in the first round to win MVP. And he has 2 regular season MVPs and the recent Finals MVP.

Jokic is headed for the top 10 greatest players ever. If you can make MPJ pass the ball in the first 2 seconds of the reel, you deserve that.
Jokic is the reason I started watching Basketball more. I'm a Raptors fan, but the only other team I tune into is the Nuggets. This guy is hilarious, a good leader, and talented in every single aspect of the game. Yet, for whatever reason, the NBA seems to hate him. I've never seen someone fouled so often yet not had them called. On top of that, he gets the MVP stolen from him last year and they hand it to a guy who was worse in every other metric except points (this includes attitude and leadership).
Not to mention he's making everyone on that team better every night.
