not gonna lie, I don't think that's a good idea to have her roll on her side. That could be really bad on the hips if the knees are fairly bent. I was told this in rehab myself.
Quicktwosteps in under 15s the basket is at 8 foot. Any older train in a 10 foot basket. When you first start you normally start off with the 8ft regardless of age. Also in wheelchair basketball you need really good upper body strength so a smaller basket would be super difficult. Also it helps break down the misconceptions that people with disabilities are "weaker". I hope this helped clear things up 😁
Peter Wareham that's a really good idea. I personally have played wheelchair basketball since I was 7. It's really good fun whatever you play. Everyone is really supportive and ability doesn't really matter

Why they don't lower the rim proportionately in wheelchair basketball? Is it equipment issue, morals, or pride?

Side note: it's also a way to show off tbh. If u can get a 10ft basket from the half way mark it gives you a new status lol.
Because we don't need to.
HALLO
I think I would like to have a go at wheel chair disability
