Literally the only connection betwen Naruto and Hinata was when they were Kids and it was one sided 💀 (when Naruto Got beated up instead of Hinata). Naruto literally ignored her feelings. Toneri can be loving and caring for Hinata and eventually she can fall in love with with. After all, Naruto was always her child crush with no romantic moments.
