This track also played back in the Future Trunks arc, when Black destroyed the time machine and Trunks was disappointed in himself, Vegeta approached him and told him not to give up, they'd find a way. It was a great track then and it was a great track in the latest episode too. Great job Sumit- PokéMixr!!

This theme played for the first time during the Zamasu/Goku Black saga, in the episode when Goku Black accidentally appears in the main timeline and fights Goku, then he gets pulled back to the alternate future not without destroying Future Trunks' time machine. Right after the gag where the Pilaf Gang puts the fire of the time machine off, Trunks is staring at the remnants of the device thinking of his world in sorrow while this theme rolls. Both of the times it gives the feels :_(
That's because it's considered a variation of the first opening theme.

It is apparent that they still hold the first opening's theme dear, so...You know what would be cool if it happened during the last moments of the fight?
While they play the inevitable Ultimate Battle theme, right where the key change happens (like 52 seconds into the song), they start singing the lyrics from opening 1 starting from: "Kyoretsu! Moretsu! Dainamikku!" That part fits perfectly, its just the rest that needs tuning.

Hearing this makes me think back on all of Super up until this point. Despite its flaws, I think I'll always look back on Super with fondness for all the wonderful memories I have because of it.
Feeling elated at the announcement of a new fully fledged series; the addition of fun slice of life episodes as part of the build up to the retelling of Battle Of Gods; the retelling itself, and all the awesome alternate takes on certain scenes it had, not least of which being the kickass extended fight with Goku and Beerus; seeing Freeza back again in all his glory (granted his movie had been that same year but tbh I just can't get enough of Freeza :D); the brief and ridiculous return of Captain Ginyu; Freeza's brutal torture of Gohan followed up by another poignant sacrifice from Piccolo; Vegeta's gloriously extended beatdown of Freeza; seeing the introduction of Hit, Vados, Champa, Frost, Cabba, Botamo and Magetta; Vegeta's brilliant fights with Frost and Magetta (plus the return of the Final Flash!) followed by yet another milestone of character development with his new teacher-student dynamic with Cabba; crying tears of joy and excitement at the amazing Kaioken Blue Goku reveal; the return of Future Trunks (one of my absolute favourite DB characters); the introduction and execution of Goku Black (I mean by god they really did take the idea of "evil Goku" and made it work, huh?); Trunks getting Super Saiyan Rage; Goku raging out over the death of Chi-Chi and Goten; HAKAI; Vegeta's comeback against Goku Black; the Father-Son Galick Gun; the return of Vegito; that beautiful last scene with Future Trunks and Gohan; the baseball episode. yes, all of it; the Goku vs Hit rematch mini-arc; the Zen Exhibiton Matches; Gohan's return to prominence; the return of #17; the Krillin training min-arcs; the birth of Bra; Caulifla and Kale going Super Saiyan; FREEZA'S RETURN; the introduction to Jiren; just like, the broad execution and purpose of the TOP arc as whole; ULTRA GODDAMN INSTINCT; Kefla; Freeza's double-cross against Frost; Hit vs Jiren; Hit and Goku vs Dyspo (PLUS THE RETURN OF SSJ GOD); Ultra Instinct's return; Master Roshi's last hurrah; Vegeta's first fight with Jiren; Vegeta's "Ultra SSJ Blue"; Vegeta vs Toppo; #17's Sacrifice; Vegeta's last stand against Jiren; Goku tapping into Ultra Instinct one final time (as of this message).
All this and more has made Super so much fun to watch, and I can't wait to see what it's got left in these last few episodes, and what's in store for the Dragon World after this run of the series has concluded.

This theme is amazing, and that moment when the piano starting playing when goku was about to go UI for a 3rd time gave me downright chills. I am hoping the final fight has this play once more or some sort of variation.
