- What is Pakistan’s most famous dish? We started asking around and we kept getting the same answer: Biryani! So, almost 2,000km from the home of Karachi’s biryani, tucked high up on a mountain top, the backcountry cooks are brewing up a huge pot of chicken biryani! Join us in Fairy Meadows, as we meet local tourists from Karachi and Lahore, take a beautiful hike to see Nanga Parbat, and (of course) eat biryani! The Hunza Valley is a big local tourist destination. Some universities in Lahore and Karachi send groups of students on school trips to Fairy Meadows for team building and to celebrate together. We were lucky enough to meet so many nice university students on this trip. Our kids had a great time hanging out with everyone, playing frisbee, and exploring. They even found tadpoles!
In our next video, we hike out of Fairy Meadows and head deeper into northern Pakistan’s Hunza Valley!

We are the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly with our three children. We sold our home in Alaska, USA, seven years ago, and headed overseas. We are teachers and found fantastic teaching positions in India. Two years later, we moved to the United Arab Emirates. Three years after that, during the beginning of the pandemic, we made the move to our current teaching jobs in Indonesia. We love traveling and finding adventures as a family. We hope that our travels will inspire and provide our children with the confidence to meet new people, try new foods, and enjoy learning a new language. Sindh province in southern side is currently effected by flood.
its about 1500km away from this Area.

This area is so stunning! The high mountains, all the green meadows and trees, the wooden cottages 😍..
No wonder it's called 'fairy meadows'..hope they preserve the natural beauty although it will become a big tourist destination..

nepali mountains are in himaliyas ranges most pakistani mountain are in karakorum ranges both are very pretty.

Pakistan has got three mountain ranges. 8 of 10 highest peaks in the world are in Pakistan. We have one cold desert too n many hot deserts. We have rivers, coastlines, fertile fields and a historical sites thousands of years old. And of course we have sandy and barren lands too😁

In Pakistan generally there's not much concept of space and people would hold or show affection to kids (without even permission) that is something cultural thing. People by large have good intentions and would interact with anyone without caring if stranger or not.

Every time We see forest talking, smiling on frame it puts smile on our face.

But Often time rather explaining some random stuff,(which is boaring, we skip that)), what you can do get You're kids doing fun stuff. It'll engage people 100 times more better than only explaining just random stuff....
You do it, that's greatt but not like 5-6 minute in a row..
Have some clip kid enjoying, how they react to people, culture, random street flowers etc...
Cause we naturally love watching things that are entertaining.
