The room with the coffin is a monochromatic room. When the coffin is closed there is no color visible even on your clothes. Light is coming from a single bright lamp in the middle that gives off only one pure wavelength of light. When the coffin is opened, other normal lights come on and its in color, stained glass windows light up in color and some blow up flowers pop up out of vases along the walls.
