I was revisiting this review because of interest in the Leshiy 2. Great point about the wind! The accuracy conclusion i draw from this is the 25 cal Leshiy is under powered: Rational: Just the velocity differences alone between the Leshiy and the FX puts the Leshiy pellet in the air for 23% more time (assuming the same BC). But they aren't, you used two different pellet types. So add to that ,the difference in BC between the 25g Leshiy pellet and the 34g king heavy MK1 FX pellet and I can easily conclude the wind is influencing the Leshiy test more than the FX test by a considerable margin. Thats the real problem right there. If there is more available power in the Leshiy, it will probably mean considerable increased accuracy at 50 yards.

@@OneAster1sk especially in England. It'd be an unimaginable ballache for me to get a semiautomatic rifle. Not impossible, but close to it. Plus where I shoot I don't need more than 50-60 yards range and my 12ft/lb BSA R10 MK2 does the job nicely on squirrels and pigeons.
Great review! In .25 I would most probably go with the 14” barrel helping the gun to posh the pellets a bit quicker down range. I love the simplicity of that gun. Easy to maintain and to repair. As you said, the perfect go everywhere / survival gun. For this reason I would still prefer it over the Leshiy 2 semiautomatic. And I’m struggling not to buy it.

Biggest issue with this is the price- in the UK, it's £900+. A great compact tool with a unique style, however with limited range & accuracy ( due to a short barrel ), and the price kills it for all but those with the deepest pockets...
My backpacking days arr long gone (more truthfully, they never were), and this is the first PCP airgun you've demo'd that I have no interest in - which is not really a critique, since I'm not in the target audience for it. Niche product indeed, seems to combine the worst characteristics of springers (elaborate cocking, single shot) and PCP's (comparvatively low shot count, so-so accuracy). I'll keep saving my pennies for one of the othar more impressive guns you've reviewed. But nice to see a new posting from you, Ted! You and Matt Dubber are my favorite airgun channels.

Thanks for including your opinion about things like the trigger quality, extremely short eye relief for the scope and what shooters should consider this one. I always find that kind of info useful.
40 yards or less for rabbits or squirrels. I can do better than that with my old Tempest .22 pistol. Those pellets are not heavy enough. Someone needs to practice their fundamentals. $1400 for that inaccuracy at that short range. Absolutely not.

People don't understand the Leshiy barrel, it's deep lands / groovs and fast twist is made for slugs not pellets, you will get a lot of flyers with pellets
This is probably the only video you've made that, until today, I'd not watched! And as always, you did an exceptional job! Now, I have an idea, would love to hear what you think of it..compare this Edgun to the new Umarex Notos..I feel they're pretty similar in many ways, and just think it would make for a cool video. I recently bought a Notos, and I have been pleasantly surprised with the gun. I consider it a "poor man's" version of the Edgun Leishy.
It does exactly what it promises to do: fill a void for a shorter-range critter-gitter. Great seeing your mug on CZcams in a new video, Ted. ALSO- really love the t-shirt. The Leshiy reminds me of my PP700 in some ways- perfect short to intermediate range PCP pistol; same air capacity, single shot, and great for those "across the yard" shots. Is the Leshiy worth the money? IMO, yup. That thing is built like a Russian tank. Now the scope.... Me likey!

I have the connect 32mm but use the reach back mounts dedicated for it so no probs with mounting, but i know what you mean with the wide field of view, awsome. I don't leave very many comments because you normally hit all the points and over the past year or so, I have based most of my PCP air rifle buys off of your reviews. I think I've told you once before that I too have a pretty respectable collection of air rifles my self starting with the Benjamin Marauder .25 to my Day-State Wolverine .303, and a few other highly sought after good looking air rifles, and last week I ordered my second Texan 45. I watched your video on last years Extreme bench rest competition and I've been wanting to compete the past 3 years but have not had the balls. however this year I do and have already registered I went all out and registered for all of the shooting matches and am taking your advice. I started practicing last week. I've been shooting PCP rifles and Air rifles all my life so I think I'm a pretty good shot. The reason for my Comment to you today is more to see if you could give me some pointers about pellets, and such, and to tell you that a guy from Virginia Beach VA is going to give you a run for your money this year. You might know this already, but with your scope camera setup you’re halfway to a full night vision. Most point and shoot cameras are quite easy to remove the IR filter (take the back cover off and it’s just in front of the sensor). Then all you need is an IR light. Night hunting might not be so fun as plinking starlings in the summer sun though!

I'd really love to see an episode on what you can get for the majority of people out there and I'm talking about the 50-200$ prices. Most people out there are not going to spend that much money on an air rifle when I could have gotten a 50 cal. big gun for those prices.

Gotta be honest, I would love to have one of these. Currently when I go backpacking, I carry my Crosman 1322 with the carbine stock because I suck with a pistol. Being that it's a multi-pump, air supply is infinite for me, but at .22 and no modifications to the valve or anything, I'm probably not even hitting 600 fps I'd guess. But this little piece would be the perfect replacement, now if I could just get it for a price like the Crosman 1322 I'll be in good shape. LMAO

Seems like a good compromise between a pistol and rifle. I deal with squirrels eating my tomatoes and peppers here in VA, in the woods.. all within 30 yards. and my condor isn't really appropriate so short.this might work.
I don't know about anyone else, but I'm old enough to recognize the music of your "bleep" as being used on The Newlywed Game. Considering how often they used the "bleep" and how much more often they probably should have; I thought your use of it was funny and appropriate.
Love your videos! I have the Benjamin Maurauder pistol with shoulder stock for under $400 that I believe would fit the bill against this guy and it has an 8 round clip. However, love the comparison with the Impact FX that is spot on for varmint shooting at +50 yards. I have an Airforce Talon but it is single shot; however, very accurate to 60 yards. If you need a quick second shot, then the FX is the one you have to have in hand and I hope to have one soon. Keep them coming my friend!

WTF where did the spearfishing stuff go?
People were criticizing his editing because the vids were labeled as a "Spear Fishing VLOG" and only one fish was dispatched on camera in the span of two half hour videos. He probably couldn't take the critical opinions and took the videos down like a petulant child having a tantrum because their mommy didn't put their shitty drawing on the fridge.
I'd really love to see an episode on what you can get for the majority of people out there and I'm talking about the 50-200$ prices. Most people out there are not going to spend that much money on an air rifle when I could have gotten a 50 cal. big gun for those prices.

Gotta be honest, I would love to have one of these. Currently when I go backpacking, I carry my Crosman 1322 with the carbine stock because I suck with a pistol. Being that it's a multi-pump, air supply is infinite for me, but at .22 and no modifications to the valve or anything, I'm probably not even hitting 600 fps I'd guess. But this little piece would be the perfect replacement, now if I could just get it for a price like the Crosman 1322 I'll be in good shape. LMAO
Totally sensible single load system. You can actually get your hand behind the breech and insert the pellet without fumbling .

Seems like a good compromise between a pistol and rifle. I deal with squirrels eating my tomatoes and peppers here in VA, in the woods.. all within 30 yards. and my condor isn't really appropriate so short.this might work.

Love your videos! I have the Benjamin Maurauder pistol with shoulder stock for under $400 that I believe would fit the bill against this guy and it has an 8 round clip. However, love the comparison with the Impact FX that is spot on for varmint shooting at +50 yards. I have an Airforce Talon but it is single shot; however, very accurate to 60 yards. If you need a quick second shot, then the FX is the one you have to have in hand and I hope to have one soon. Keep them coming my friend!
