there are so many drummers that not everyone can be seen. That is why sometimes the drummer needs to make the first move and get in touch with their favourite brand!
The Export series is made out of Poplar and Asian Mahogany and actually sounds pretty incredible for such an affordable kit. (This isn't the best mix I've gotten as I had no time to check how it was sounding at this shoot) but I play this kit because I want to play something that my fans can afford. What good would I be doing people If I said "hey I love my kit it sounds great, too bad most of you can't afford to play it too." I'm very happy with the Export kit and so I recommend it to others.

Haha I actually saw him play live two days ago and stood behind his kit... I'd still have to about triple that setup to match the amount of stuff he has, plus I'd have to beef up my chops a tonnnnnn lol! He's got some crazy quick hands and feet, although after awhile the type of stuff he plays loses its novelty in my eyes, as long as he enjoys it, more power to him!
The power of hard work and the sacrifice of all your time equals this. You see the end result, but you don't see the over 48 hours I worked in 3 days on this. I spent 14 hours the first day setting up, configuring & tweaking the kit, then taking it ALL DOWN the same day and packing it all up into cars. I then got 3 hours of sleep & woke up early to set up for 4 hours, play for 3 hours, then take down for 3 hours. Then 10 more hours to set my WHOLE studio back up and 18 hours to edit the video.

Why you gotta go at him like that? Guys, he has clearly stated that he doesnt think he is the most amazing drummer in the world. What we have here is an incredibly excited drumemr. He loves that shit. And he was good! He kept the beat, varied his fills and moved around the kit without fucking it up. He also knows what he is banging on.
To watch a more advanced humble but proud but drummer just fuck around with a massive kit, is great! To have a listen, to see whats he s doing. Its nice when you are learning to see others have fun with what they know, and not just listen to people explain shit to you. This is perfect.
And the excitement on his face when he got up, ha! Thats why we learn, thats why we play. Be happy for this guy having access to those drums instead, you jealous bastards ;)

Yes, you are absolutely right. I think that everyone, not just drummers, should be respected equally. Not depending race, gender, or even the way they look or think.
Thanks! Those cymbals are so beautiful sounding, I'd be CRAZY to ruin them with too much compression or cover them up. The tone and wash from those crashes is unbelievable. I love my A Custom line, but those A's and K Custom Hybrids are absolutely classy and beautiful sounding.
And you are completely right, nor do I suggest spending the money to get a big huge kit. As I said in this video, it is mostly excess and too much. I barely even knew how to play it all in once sitting lol
Go watch my two covers I did on a small kit a few weeks ago, you'll see I don't promote that a big kit makes you good, although it does allow you to have more options and sometimes create cooler ideas.
I've got 8"/10"/12"/14"/16"/18" toms, 22" and 18" bass drums, 6"×10" and 7"×13" snare drums, 20" gong bass, with 14 cymbals, plus a 5-piece electronic kit, 24"×8" pedal-operated talking drum, two djembes, a doumbek, an udu, and a 22" frame drum.😂
Always play this video for my lil guy.......keeps him calm (alot less crying and seems to like the video over all) (around a year old) my girl said I should leave this comment.....he doesn't like the talking that much but for the drummers out there it's some good info...and just keep doing ya thing, great videos.....................madd smiles.....

I love how every time I say that, someone brings up the cymbals like they're trying to prove my intentions wrong. Cymbals are nothing like drums. You have absolutely no way of tuning a cymbal. You can't say,I want this type of sound from my cymbals, let me get my drum key. No, you have to get cymbals that have the sound you want. I always say to save money on the kit&get an amazing, affordable Pearl,&then get the cymbals you like. An A custom pack is about the same as the kit&totally worth it.
Yes Sir, it's set up at my house! I intend to do some videos/covers etc on it before splitting it back into two kits. I MIGHT keep the double rack up full time though, cause it's fun! ;)

You use the Pearl PCL-100 Pipe Clamp on the top of each of the poles on the bottom rack. Then the small part of the top poles slides right in and clamps down in those clamps.
So nice to see a modern drummer that isnt playing exclusively blast beats and stuff above 150bpm. Technique is so nice. keep makin vids please.

Lol yes, I was WAY better three years ago when I didn't nearly have the chops I have now, didn't have the tuning and recording skills I have now, and when I had to multi-take all my old videos because I didn't have the multiple cameras and stuff to show everyone multiple angles of what I am doing at the same time. All these comments about you've changed, or the old you is better, or anything like that is hilarious to me. Like I'm the first person to ever play on a new drum set? I'm STILL me :)
I've always loved how I can actually hear the cymbals in your videos! Most production places either compress them out, or just turn the volume way down on everything!

If I ever get the opportunity to play a kit like this I would be MIA for atleast month. this is AWESOME..i remember your 100th video like it was yesterday; its pretty safe to say you've come EXTREMELY far since then in every aspect possible :D

i couldn't ever figure out why other drummers would play the same beat as me but theirs would sounds cleaner and have that special sound to it then a drummer friend of mine explained about filling in the gaps between the counts in a beat and accenting some and it took my drumming to a whollleeeeee new level! Again, you're good and I'm not hating on your video, just some drummer to drummer advice

Neil Peart's stage kit is roughly $60K if not more because of the custom embossing of the shells and even his Sabian Paragon cymbals which he helped design have the Time Machine/Clockwork Angels logos 'painted' onto the cymbals. And all the V-Drums and Roland eletronics.

I am a drummer, and i can say that casey is a fucking good drummer, he plays like a boss, what he comes to do is frankly technical (the shades, the speed, the beat, the sonority, the groove), then you can't understand if you are not a musician, what he comes to do implies hour and hour of work, and years of training. After I do not say he is the best because a musician continues constantly to improve. Without rancor, peace :)

Dude you should watch some technique videos on wrist movement, I can tell just by seeing when you play that is tough for you to play faster drum fills and rythms because of your long arms.. You're playing is dope! I dig it!!is just you can do less work by using the right techniques!!!

Nice playing, but may I recommend something? This is in NO way hating you, but have you considered maybe adding some rudimental fills or grooves? I use rudiments quite a lot (mainly because drum line habits are burned into my mind), and you can do some killer fills with rudiments. Either way, keep on drumming Cooper :3
