  • Doctor Who has been running for sixty years, and when Magic the Gathering's creators released a crossover set featuring cards from that wide history, I knew, as a fan of the show, I had something I needed to make.
This is a one-hour plus video diving into the entirety of this set, looking at every card and explain the flavor of it, for all those who are completely unfamiliar with the world of Doctor Who.
This has been a big project, and I'm super glad that it turned out well!! I'm enjoying doing long-form content, like this, and the analog horror video, and I hope to do more of it!

Cards are property of Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro; with most of the cards used depicting property of the British Broadcasting Company.

Gotta admit, i walked into this video expecting about 200 2-8 seconds clips for the people who have seen the show, but this is awesome for Magic players who havent seen it - maybe it'll convince them to watch!

That's nearly how I went about doing it, to be honest, but I realized it made everything all over the place. It felt better to sacrifice a tiny bit of accuracy (i.e., Dinosaurs on a Spaceship comes AFTER Wedding of River Song), and do it relatively like I'm telling a story, then to break each card in what was originally Collector Number order.
If you do end up watching, I'd like to speak on behalf of the community and welcome you, it's a wild ride and we hope you enjoy!

I feel Donna on the "overload of mental knowledge" bit after reading this. I feel like I just swallowed a whole Wikipedia article, but in the best way! Loved it!!

Superb video! I'm a massive Dr. Who fan but never been one for Magic so this was super fun, and really cool to see! Keep up the great work, and have a lovely day :D

Unironically, this also works as a fantastic summary of the history of the show, even for non-Magic players! Bravo!

It does, doesn't it? It doesn't cover everything, but it covers a huge portion of the show in only one hour and eleven minutes, huh? Happy accidents, and thank you!!!!

Great video! Going through the cards in order of the episodes they represent was the perfect way to do it

Thank you!! And yeah, I wanted to do it somewhat like I'm telling you the lore of the show (cards excluded), that way it felt as cohesive and logical as I could.

Never watched Doctor Who so thanks for the incite. Extremely well done!
Wondering if you have any plans to do this for Fallout as well, it's a very cool idea.

While I think doing it for Fallout would be cool, I know basically nothing about Fallout lore. If I did, though :)
And thank you!! I remember seeing a lot of people curious about What is X or Why Does Y Do Z, and sooooooo yeah!

Same, it would be really cool, although she apparently has some of those spin-off audio dramas, which are on my ever-mounting backlog of things to get to.
