I had a factory ordered golf R in 2014, I sold it to move to Australia for the year! Now seeing these 8.5's ...makes me want another, they're fantastic looking imo
yeah this 8.5 gen is almost perfect tbh, cant wait until i can afford either the clubsport or the R
8:10 Dynaudio sound systems were seriously underrated. Might not have the same brand cache of Burmester or Harmon Kardon, but when it came to sound quality they were really in a league of their own. Theres a reason Dynaudio were picked for the sound system in the Bugatti Veyron and Chiron.
I loved it in my MK7 GTI. One of the best I’ve experienced in a small car. Even put it above the Bang and Olufsen in my current 8Y.
100% my mk7.5 golf r did not have it as standard so I got it retrofitted night and day difference and the bass was on another level

Absolute dream car. I had a mk4 GTI and a regular MK7 TSI with the latter having such superb balance. Even with the tiny 1.4t it's such a joy to drive. Rigid, efficient, and even a little playful. But this is 🤯🤯
Definitely looks really good, but can't wait for the updates on the R36 and R32, lots of support from South Africa brother 💪🤝🤝🔥💥👌

We were starting to worry about you as we hadn't seen a video for some time but when we saw this video and you starring in Andrew's (Volkswizard) video of the GTI Road Trip travelling to Fanfest, it was good to see you again, especially behind the wheel of the 7.5. 👍😎👍
Good to see you back. I'm still not a fan of touchscreen operated heating and volume controls. They should have their own dedicated physical buttons, it's just easier. Also, why not put an idrive type of control to operate the screen whilst driving. Trust me, touchscreens are a major distraction.

The oily bits are great. I have a manual 380 (a US spec with all the autobahn options and a manual box). Had a nightmare with the infotainment constantly calling support for no reason. Other than that it’s fantastic.

I HATE pan sunroofs (think that’s because I won’t be seen in a convertible) nice job!
Keep bringing the content I just bought a 2022R but wanting for dealership to finish with paperwork. It takes a while (Japan). Loved all your work you did with your R. Think I watched each episode atleast twice.
Mine didn’t come with Nurburgring mode. :( Is there a way to keep auto gear change on manual mode without Special mode?

Thanks for your VW content and I want to see more! Those wheels look a lot better than the MKV they are representing. I never liked the stock MKV wheels personally. I also prefer the old side-bar GTI badge over the letters on this one. That is a nice bump in HP to 265! Why did it restrict the drive modes?
It's part of the VA Group so it will develop an untraceable, intermittent ECM fault
