Do you really need to cure your natural wax candles before burning them? How long should you cure them for? And should you cure your candles with lids or no lids?

Do you think it’s important to wait a week when testing wicks? I have fragrance oil that I have used many times, but I have some new jars I’m trying to find wicks for.

Hi it is necessary to cover the lid for the candles while curing? I have a glass about 4 oz and it’s doesn’t have a lid so will it work while curing? Can I leave it like that for a week with no lid or a cap or anything

Hey there!! If I don’t cure my soy wax candle for one week will I get mushrooms on top of my wick??

Hey! I haven't known curing time to affect mushrooming. Typically, mushrooming is caused when the wick isn't correctly sized to the candle. Do you trim it every time before you burn your candle? Otherwise, I'd suggest sizing down or at least trying a different size wick for your candle 😊

@@thecandlejourney2500 i have used all kinds of wicks but none of them gave clear burn. Only eco wick is giving me less mushrooming but it seems impossible to get rid of it. I am cutting wicks in between of burning time of 4-5 hours.
