Fujifilm X-E5: A Wishlist

- 2025. That’s when we expect to get the Fujifilm X-E5.
While we wait, I’ve put together a collection of features that I’d like to see on Fuji’s next XE model, while also looking at how it slots into the wider Fuji range. Honestly I feel like the X-E5 really needs to do something special to make it different form the X-T50
It’s kind of the issue now with the X-T50 cannabilizing the lineup.
Yep, needs some sort of USP or else it's kinda gonna lose relevance in the line-up.
X-E5 can be the sweetspot between x-100VI and X-T50. Compact rangefinder style camera with minimalistic dials. I don’t need high video performance.
i bought the xe-1 when it launched and recently dusted it off again and am enjoying it. i hope the xe-5 becomes a reality. i think its a great overall balance of features.
X-E1, talk about a Fuji classic! Would be fascinating to compare it with the X-E5 when it eventually comes out.
Just got a used E3...LOVE IT WITH MY T5....add a tilt screen for sure and new sensors

Ibis would be great, do not need 4x mp
If they raise the price like they did with the XT-50. I’d like them to add the X100v style dial that has both ISO and the shutter speed dial. Give it the new processor and IBIS. Either 26 or 40mp sensor works for me. They must retain the flip forward selfie screen its needed in the beginner friendly camera’s like the XT-50.
From what I saw on Fujirumours, the combined ISO and SS dial might be too expensive for X-E5 production, but we'll have to wait and see.
I've set the Fn button on top of the body as my video record button as I stick with auto-ISO.

If Fuji can make a camera with a 40 mpixel sensor, Ibis and a weight inferior to 400g, they can take my money.

One thing that's a given: XE5 will be way overpriced, as is the case with all Fujifilm cameras of late.
At least it may make the XE4 cheaper on the second hand market.
Sir, can you help me please? I have decided to get X-S20 and confused b/w Sigma 18-50mm and the new kit lens 16-50mm f2.8. Which one should I get sir? I mainly wanna do cinematic video, street and landscape photography!
Depends which is cheaper, I would go for the Sigma!
Aint gonna happen man, they cant even keep up with the demand for the new X100VI
Well, let's hope Fuji fix their supply chain issues - I can't see X-E5 being more popular than the X100VI.
Availability. The only thing that matters.

If X-pro4 doesn’t come to the market yet, how can it possible for XE-5 to show up first? Just like XT5-50 must come after XT-5.
