Turning a quahog shell into wampum

I attempted to show both the traditional process and the modern (much faster) process to create wampum. In this video, I make a free-formed cabochon, but the same process could be used to make a traditional disk bead or even a tube bead, if using metal drills.

Actually you can use the same process and tools as you would use to cut a polish any stone or shell. same process you would use to cut a "cabishon" for a ring or a pendant.
