I would still rather have the NL2 devs make the RMC track. This way we don't have to go through this process. I mean it's nice that Code provides this, but would be nicer to not have to go through this process anymore.
+WolfRaging95 Its still nice to be able to create a realistic looking RMC though. Remember he did a similar thing with Wing Coasters a couple of months before the actual wing coaster trains were added.
It would also be nice to not have to tiptoe around the issue of brakes or transfer/fork tracks since it can be hard to replicate the same consistent look on those as the rest of the track.
I've figured out how to add the supports (mind you still have to create custom inverted supports) 1) Once you've finished your track, and added these RMC rails, crossties, and cars, you can go to the "Coaster" tab. - 2) Go down to the "name" drop-down box, then select - 3) on the coaster, you can select "Import Coaster" - 4) Navigate to the coaster you just built and import it into the model - 5) Once it is loaded, go to the "Supports" tab and select "Wooden Generator" (or whatever it's called) to generate the supports. Make sure that before you generate, go to the options and under "build Mode" select "generate final". Under "Build Style" select "Simple", Under "Global Segment Flag Settings" DE-select "left and right handrails and catwalks" then go to the drop box and select "6.25 ft" for bent spacing. Then click "okay" to generate your supports - 6) After you've generated your supports, follow these videos by BossAct7 to create your supports: czcams.com/video/QEAIcc7ayp8/video.html czcams.com/video/FTMtCOfw7As/video.html czcams.com/video/msQjqp9O0Aw/video.html - 7) With a little creativity you will have your custom RMC support structure.
I absolutely appreciate you taking the time to make this so easy and amazing! Your last RMC rails were a little difficult to work with, but these are fabulous! I have a coaster (that I am posting sometime soon) that will feature them if you would like to see what I am working on. Thank you so much!
Awesome update, really appreciate having these available, but two quick things: So is there a recommended place/forum to pose questions/problems getting it to work (I'm assuming youtube comments aren't ideal) Also I'm having an issue with the train binding, followed all the steps but I'm coming up with null-pointer errors. Any thoughts?
Thought I'd add this: If you want to use the topper track in NL2, the vanilla hybrid trains actually mate near perfectly to the track, meaning making the track invisible could allow for proper NL2 script trains on the topper (and original hybrid track.)
It won't allow me to select a folder to save it to. It keeps telling me access denied...I don't see any folder that says textures, or anything along those lines. Anyone know how to figure this out?
Problem- I downloaded all of the files, and nothing went wrong there, but whenever I try to place down an sco file for topper , is says "File Not Found". What Am I doing wrong?
Great video and even better add-on... too bad I'm not that great at RMC's lol. Question, would it be possible for you to use the same concept you used for the crossties and separators on things like track nets/crowd protecting nets?
Hey code master, how would I switch the track color like twisted colossus does half way through the ride? Just curious if you have figured that out yet.
There probably isn't a way to do that, unless you split your track into two, create the track for one half, and then create the track for the other half, and put them back together? That's just a guess
I figured out a way. Make the whole track and do the chain, brakes, wheels, and trains. Then save the first half of the track as an element as well as the other half. Add each half as its own coaster and custom track each coaster to the color you desire.
how do i hide the trains? want to have wooden supports (like a normal RMC) but when i freeze it the intamin rocket trains are on the track as well. help!!???
Themepark International . After You Create the track you Import that same track (change its name so you are not confused.) Then on the imported track put 0 Trains and add wooden Supports. Freeze the imported Coaster and keep the original Unfroze with Hide WireFrame. hope this helps. Might be confusing.

MovieBoysHD For supports, under the coaster tab, click import coaster, and selected the park your coaster is in, and you can create a clone of your coaster in the exact same spot. Hide the track, remove the trains, and then create supports with the wood generator.

Well somethings wrong for me, I got a syntax error (Sorry, that I don't know what that is, I've never used a script before). How can I fix this? Thats the error: \TopBmat.nl2mat(1) : Syntax error
So i have a question. If i replace these models with my own (talking about the trains) will those show up on my track or is that not possible and do i have to start from scratch? If so, how exactly do i use my own cars as trains ingame?
So i downloaded the files, but whenever i go to get them on nolimits two. the files show up (ex. Presets) but then the files under that one do not show up/
When i double click on a segment of the track, there is no option to change the color in the window that pops up. The track is only lightbulb and I’m trying to make it red. Any ideas?
Well, I finally did it, but something seems odd, there are a lot of files that seem like they'd be very useful (named "chain" and "brakes" etc.) but I'm not entirely sure how to use them. I'm going to try to figure it out, but I want to know if you're planning on making a follow up tutorial to this one where you explain the rest of the files. I'd really appreciate it if you did.
@TheCodeMaster I made my own crossbeams on Sketchup I also made 2000 of it in Blender. I placed it and put the Script crossbeams into it but when I go out of the Editor its on the Track but somehow way to big, why ?
Hi, i see you've made another update in the files adding a lot of details. I am having trouble with the chain/lift. It is extremely laggy and it wont become an actual chain, even with the necessary triggers. I have tried both placing it at the station, and placing it at the lift. Please reply I need help 😂
This isn't working whenever I try to upload the files to my coaster it says cannot save permission denied and when I tray to save It won't let me save the files to my parks because they don't show up.
What I find really frustrating is when I select all of the rails and click reload, all of the the rails still stay blue. Even when I did copy and paste the files from the Replacement SCOs and MATs Folder, and then pasted them into the Textures folder, then in the editor I selected all of the rails, then I clicked the reload button, they still stayed blue, and didn't turn white. Hi, I know this was a long time ago but I think I may have found an answer. What I found was there was another SCOs and MATs Folder in the File, labeled Replacement SCOs and MATs Topper. When I loaded in the regular file, I had the same issue. However, loading in the file with the "Topper" at the end changed the rails to white. Hopefully this works for you!
