Westjet has come a long way, the premium econ and business seats are nice, thanks for the video.
Another top notch video! Loved the engine / upswept 787 wing shots flying over scenic Winter Canada. I was pleasantly surprised at WestJets premium economy food service, seats, and entertainment for that flight length. Not bad at all and actually pretty impressive IMHO. Crosswind landing seemed a little rough but understandable for the conditions. Video LIKE - 👍.

Stunning shots once again. I've found both Air Canada and WestJet's 787 premium economy and business class experiences to be great, but given that I haven't flown on a non-Canadian offering I don't really have much to compare to. WestJet's 787 cabin is a beauty tho. Thanks for the great video!
Thank you! They do offer a great experience for sure. Haven’t tried WestJet’s business service yet but I’ve heard great things. With that said, if you are able to try business on an Asian airline such as ANA or EVA, I highly recommend, it’s really in a different league.
Excellent video as always. I especially liked that the captain informed the passengers that their will be turbulent landing! I'm a frequent flyer and still get jumpy when it gets bumpy not knowing why! I think all crews should keep pax informed as helps calm them and prevent unruly pax due to being scared!

Also WestJet J and PE seats seem to mirror almost exactly the new AC seats on their refitted A330. Only difference is the colour palette and honestly I prefer WestJet’s design since it brings out a bit more character.

Nope, the cabin is pretty small so it’s rare that a lineup forms for the bathroom. At least I didn’t experience that on my flight.

Also, would you guys say that they recline as much as the other seats in that section or does the bulkhead reduce it somewhat?

How do you always get such perfect shots out the plane window? Mine always has glare, scratches on the window , etc. Keep up the great videos!
It helps to put the lens as close as possible to the window, or use a black hoodie or silicone lens hood to cut out as much glare as possible. If you can control your camera aperture, a lower f/stop number also helps to reduce the effect of scratches in your video footage.
Did you have limitaion on reclining due to the bulkhead behind your seats?
No limitation, same recline

I'm flying Westjet premium soon long haul. I've previously flown with Air Canada premium and Transat Club Class. Also BA premium. BA was a waste of money on an old airliner which had seen better days. Horrible seats and most of the equipment not working on board. I have to say out of Air Canada and Air Transat, Air transat came out on top with Club class over Air Canada's premium. Let's see how Westjet looks on a flight from Gatwick to Vancouver!

We paid for the Premium economy seats to fly to Costa Rica. The extra room was great, but the free drink was never served as well as a choice of two in flight meals. We were simply told to complain to the trip booker and left without the paid for extras. Never will I pay extra again.
Okay this is actually worth paying for if a long haul. I don’t know what the eff air Canada thinks they’re trying to say counts as PE but it’s garbage

I upgraded for a flight from Calgary to Dublin for an extra $750. It was the biggest rip off I’ve ever been scammed with regarding any flight I’ve ever been on! A bit of extra room, one extra drink, 2 inch bigger tv and some headphones. Next time I’ll save it and spend it at my destination! But to be honest? This turned me off so much…West jet will be my last choice from now on. $300 more? Possibly even $400….but $750 was way too much.
