Nice. Some of favorite parts of the USA are VT, NH, and ME. I haven't been to Acadia in a long time...I think a trip is in order. And while I agree North Conway can be a bit much, the White Mountains in general, especially in the fall, are some of the most gorgeous places on this planet. Looking forward to the rest of the episodes.

One of these days I will get to hike Franconia Notch in autumn, has to be among the best places in the US. At least that is what I picture in my mind.

@@GreenhornPhototaker There is a place on Rt 302 just south of the Crawford Notch train station, Crawford Notch Scenic Parking Area, that I would love to see your take/photo of. It looks back down Crawford Notch. In the fall as the sun is going down, with the right sky, it is breathtaking. I have spent many late afternoon/evenings there...enjoying the view...and a cold one!

@@KingBobsKingdom I was looking for some google map photos of your place, and while they didn't have any, they did have one from Mt Willard, which looks like a bluff a bit south of where you were speaking of. Oh my, what an incredible scene! www.google.com/maps/@44.2037621,-71.4109879,3a,75y,172.9h,81.88t/data=!3m8!1e1!3m6!1sAF1QipN8WgcvZOBhdTSY4VLKa03170v2j_jTehL02zML!2e10!3e11!6shttps:%2F%2Flh5.googleusercontent.com%2Fp%2FAF1QipN8WgcvZOBhdTSY4VLKa03170v2j_jTehL02zML%3Dw900-h600-k-no-pi8.115729465812507-ya14.902058933152489-ro0-fo90!7i8704!8i4352?authuser=0&coh=205410&entry=ttu

@@GreenhornPhototaker Thats the view. Mt Willard is a relatively easy hike starting at the Craford Notch train station. It is 1.5 miles to the rock ledge...well worth the effort. Take away the road and the train tracks and I get such a Lord of The Rings vibe.
