Too much pace on in front and too close to the frantic speed for both his horses.

Such a cruel sport. Whipping those poor horses all for the sake of making money.

Exactly. People say horses are big so you need to hit them harder. That is the biggest load of crap I've ever heard. A horse has more nerve endings than a human. And especially being whipped on the flank? By an adult? Why don't we try having a grown man whip a 10 year old child in the stomach and see how they react. In today's society, that would be considered child abuse. So why isn't whipping a horse considered animal abuse? Whipping a horse to that degree is in no way classified as an aid. There is a fine line between aids and abuse. And they are abusing the word "aid". And to think a few days before this a 2 year old died on the track. Obviously. It was a 2 year old. The poor thing wasn't even fully grown before you put it on the track with a rider on its back. Adults don't even have the maturity to handle these horses in the right way. They still say they put the horse's welfare first. Come on. Putting a 2 year old on the track is putting its welfare first? That would look more like leaving the horse in a pasture to enjoy its life. Its training should have barely started. And of course, they removed the body quickly because they didn't want people to see what happened, and they prioritised the jockey instead of the horse. This kind of behaviour is a shame to proper equestrians and makes me lose faith in humanity.

@@benbim540 Maybe you just have a high pain tolerance, or you don't have enough arm strength. I tried it once and my leg went completely red.
