If someone says they're disappointed with Chennai roads and traffic, then possibly they haven't seen any other cities with nearly a population of 10 million people managing better than Chennai. BTW Chennai roads are far better than most of the roads in the other metro cities in our country. 😅

There is second type, the lazy type which thrives on freebies and only thinks of surviving today. Nobody can help them except themselves. My grandfather belonged to first type.

Taj is awesome but Chennai is a hot, humid and filthy city filled with traditionally minded and financially conservative people. Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad or Bombay is where you will find rich people who also are willing to splurge on luxury. In Chennai they will buy gold or agricultural land but not super expensive luxury apartments.

    • @Metalrocks23

Oh so you mean to say people living in the cities you mentioned are all posh and philanthropic? This is typical stereo typing. Let us come to the point, Mumbai is overcrowded and overrated (people compare it to New York City), I tend to laugh whenever I hear that (I’ve lived near NYC). Also, Mumbai gets drenched during monsoon. Delhi is the most polluted city in the world. So, even after paying 6.5 to 20 cr why would you want to die of lung disease? Bangalore and Hyderabad are hyper inflated as far as real estate in concerned. Being a Hyderabadi I can tell you that Hyderabad hasn’t developed in so many decades. You might argue about how Techie these cities are, Hyderabad is old city if you know what I mean. It is only Cyberabad that has been developed that too because the earlier government under KCR owned lot of lands, hence they hyper inflated the prices. You please come to Bangalore/Chennai during the monsoon, you’ll know what I’m talking. Villas worth over 10cr were all inundated during every monsoon. The day when real estate bubble bursts, Bangalore and Hyderabad real estate investors will be the biggest losers. Yeah, the hot humid thing is controlled by the almighty, so can’t argue on that. My point is that no city is perfect, kindly stop making exceptions for your own ego.

@@tvm73827 I ain’t a kiddo. Whatever you say is your opinion. You like stereo typing people. I guess you are jealous of Tamilians for some reason. Clearly telling in comments. Btw Bangalore doesn’t even have water, you want to sell homes worth crores, on what basis? Btw now I know who says what you said.

@@Metalrocks23 Its "stereotyping" unless you are referring to a new kind of stereo that you have invented. By the way what in my statements led you to believe that I am "jealous" of Tamilians. Don't go ape s..., I'm stating facts unless you don't like facts. But thatt's your problem not mine. The fact of the matter is that if you want to be a successful business technologist you would most likely be in Bangalore and not anywhere else, and certainly not Chennai.

But, during monsoons, they will simply bribe some 2000 to 5000 rupees to the local sweepers to block the sewage or rain water path with cement, trash, etc and gets diverted to other nearby areas. So that it doesn't get into their LUXURY area. This happens in every city all over India.
