Lol... seeing that box of shells for 5 dollars made me tear up a little bit 🥲
Me too
It seems like so long ago there was actually ammo on the shelf
😂no shit
Our walmart quit selling any guns now
@@meghan7547 that’s what we thought here as well, but it was just when all the riots and stuff happened they didn’t want guns stolen
@@staceydodd6135 They took the whole case out, talked to an employee... said no more gun sales of any kind here...not sure if just this store or coming to all of them
@@meghan7547 i heard some where im pretty sure they were quitting the sale of firearms and ammo at select locations. Not all. Wouldn't be surprised if they did go that far though but i bet walmart makes quite a bit of money from it
The super bowl can wait, it’s turkey time!
Turkey Bowl 🦃
Congratulations you played it right! I bless you!

@@waynelown6152 hey Wayne is a cool name that’s my middle name after my grnadpa
1.That Walmart "manager" was bad to her employee and she's the one that needs the "chit chat". 2. Jake's turkey head cardboard target had me immature giggling. And 3. One video from THP has me fired up for turkey season
Its walmart, that manager sees more crap in one day than most do in a year.
The cashier was an idiot. Even after the Manager gave her the kid glove explanation (which should've been the end) the cashier kept it going and played the "victim".
@@gfy86 don’t defend a bitchy manager, rookie.
@@CheetahBigKitty I'd defend a rookie manager before I'd defend your wife on register who can't tell the difference between a bow and a football bat
THP is way better then the half time show for this soccer game thing lol
Hell yeah. Better than the entire NFL
Hahahahaha LMAO
Lol
Better than those commie kneelers
It’s only the weekend trying to act like Michael Jackson
Correct, these dudes in the white masks look like kkk members 🤦♂️. You can’t tell me it wasn’t planned.
“I’ve never done one of this before. Done what? A bow and arrow. Like this bow. No is there a security thing on it. I know I’m just asking.” Had me dying😂
Man I love how you guys don’t get caught up in that trophy animal stuff. Just shoot whatever makes you happy as long as it’s legal.
Food is food.
Trophies, hooves, and horns dont taste good.
$135 for gun, shells, and camo.
$270 for Iowa non-resident license and tag.
Just boughtviowa non res habitat, fed migra stamp, and small game. 163.50. Not bad for a full years worth of running wild vhasimg all kinds of birds.
Ol the good ol days when you could find a gun and ammo in a Walmart ..... 😂
Walmart by my house is still loaded with guns and ammo. Very good selection of both available.

Glad to finally see some new turkey content from y'all!
Awesome video. I think the importance of what you guys teach is the simplicity to hunting that truly makes it enjoyable. Not to be confused with fact that turkey hunting isn't easy or simple. It's about just getting out there and enjoying being out in the woods hunting. Another key piece I take from this video is the piece of taking folks with you. So many people get bad info on having to go out and buy a ton of gear that super expensive then they go out and don't kill a bird and hate it. Teaching folks to just get what they can afford will make them have a better experience. I've hunted public land for turkey before but only in my state. This year though for the first time I am traveling to 4 different states maybe 5 to public land turkey hunt. Can't wait. Will be doing it by myself. But hoping in my state to take a couple of new hunters out on some private land to try some turkey's and get them hooked! Keep up the great work guys!
jakes vest in the intro was twice the price of the shotgun 😂
Love all the videos and how you guys try to get people into the tradition...can’t wait for the Turkey Tour 2021 🦃
You boys got me shaking! I can’t wait for turkey season. Be out there hearing the gobbles as the woods come alive!
This clip is nice reminder that you don't have spend a lot of money to get started turkey hunting. First time I turkey hunted, I called in a Jake with a box call. I thought to myself this is easy, & I let him walk. 3-4 years later when I finally shot my 1st Tom, I realized letting that Jake walk was a mistake!
Another great video! Love the concept behind this type video to let beginner hunters know that it doesn’t take expensive gear to get into it.
Pretty decent pattern on that pecker target. When does THP expect to release their line of Lorena Bobbitt targets on their website?
I’ve been waiting for this video since you guys posted about it yesterday. The Super Bowl can wait 😂.
Awesome, informative video. It took me many years to figure out how to use the rise as cover. I’ve killed a bunch since. I have an old Hastings break open 20 gauge. I killed a couple does with it, back on the early 90s, and a pheasant. This video makes me want to bring it back out again, for this coming turkey season
Hyped for this year's Turkey season!
I’m really looking forward to seeing all the 2021 turkey videos from THP.. good luck guys....
That’s awesome he snuck right up on ya. Yeah turkey hunting the last few years has been a struggle in central VA for me at least. I’m hopeful this year will be better and I can call one with in 45-50 yards.
I’m so ready to hear those spring morning gobbles !!!! I’ll be coyote huntin til then !! Much love to the THP 🤘🏻
Turkey content has begun YES PLEASE!!!!! I’m so dang ready to bust one jaws. Keep it coming guys.
I have used a single shot 20 gauge break for over 7 years for turkey and love it. It's great out to about 25 yards with a full choke barrel. Shot a good turkey every year I've been out. And never underestimate turkeys. They can be a real challenge to fool when overhunted every year by all turkey hunters. Love it for the time I'm out there and do a lot of deer scouting while I'm turkey hunting. Always try to think ahead
C-ya super bowl! THP is on 😍
Hope you are doing great. Also hope your health is holding up. My favorite turkey socking, coyote knocking, and rocking you tuber. Gods speed to you Jim Ryser and family. 👍🇺🇸🦃🎸
Love these vids. A lot of people focus so much on gear it’s good to see stuff like this that shows how little you need to enjoy the outdoors 🤘
Just what I needed!
That combo owl call is a game changer.
Guys I’m post op and taking chemo rewatching your old turkey videos so anytime is a good time for new turkey videos. Post all your old turkey videos that will be fine with me. Turkey hunting is my #1 just hoping I can get in the woods this spring. Keep up the good work guys. Thanks from an old turkey hunter in WV.
Billy Ratliff hope you have a speedy recovery and get out there. As Blue Collar Backcountry always says, the best thing for the inside is the outside.
I wish you luck in both your recovery, and your many future turkey hunts to come.
I cringe so hard when I watched the Walmart ladies argue.
It was very painful...
this sheer misery of all things wal mart.
I bought a couple of those 99 dollar rigs a couple years ago. Can’t go wrong. You can saw em off at 18.5 inches and store em under the seat. Heck of a defense shotty.
Love watching your videos, you guys have so much knowledge. You guys should come up to New Hampshire and do a turkey hunt, there are plenty of turkeys but a lot of hunting pressure.
Great challenge Jakester! You and Ted did an awesome job explaining how to get into the sport!
Stay safe,
Cubby
Love how you pattern it with the box it came in and that mule kick...had me laughing. Good form as usual
Turkey hunting is my favorite. Keep it simple and sit still. Great videos.
Turkey thp ahwahw man I haven’t watched this episode yet. But turkey season is right around the corner. Let’s go let’s go let’s gooooooo. I’ll be watching tonight after work. I’m stokeeedddd
Loved that you left the sticker on the stock....died laughing!!
Love the vids guys keep’em comin
I use a 870 to hunt Turkey, small game, Deer.
Jake & Ted... that was an A+++ video!!! Very educational and informative! Thank You!!!
Jim Crumbley old tree bark camo. That brings back memories. Great video
Great episode! You can definitely make hunting super expensive, so I appreciated seeing someone doing it on a budget with success!
Great stuff guys!!
Cool video. I dig the old bottomland jumpsuit. Looking forward to the new videos
I have watched a bunch of the turkey videos from the last couple years. I'm setting up to do my first turkey hunt in MN this year. really enjoy your vids
Where around mn are you hunting? I live there as well and have lots of good properties with good birds on them.
Can't wait to see how you guys do in Florida this spring. Good luck
And so it begins. Turkey videos, 2021 edition. The next season for which I spent way more time watching THP than actually hunting. Lol
April will be my first ever Turkey hunt. Now to find them in Missouri.
jones style hat in original TREEBARK----priceless
Turkey loads $5.86...how I miss last year. Just paid $42 for a box of 5 after looking everywhere for the past couple months.
You guys got me into turkey hunting with the first turkey tour. I got a single shot H&R Topper 20ga and a call and killed my first bird that same spring. The last few seasons have been tough, but those were all on me. Learning as I go, and loving every minute!
Had a Tom and some hens turn up not too long ago. Hadn't seen them in years. Giving them some time to get accustomed before I think of taking one. Hoping they can grow a bit more. They walked up to me once and I just lay there and let them walk by. It was amazing. Being out there is great, getting some meat is good too. But sometimes it feels good just to see them and let them do their thing.
Good to see you guys back.
Great information!!
I’ve grew as a hunter watching and learning from these videos, these boys will definitely show you a lot just pay attention to what they do, I’m thankful for every video I watch I try to take something from every deer hunt and turkey hunt video,
A guy from a little town in North Carolina
I've been hearing turkey in a lot of places I've been hunting. From Mark Twain in Missouri to Herald E Alexander WMA in Arkansas and a small 40 acres I hunt. Can't wait for spring.
All of my local-ish walmarts are always out of those $99 shotguns... hopefully soon... before spring turkey season.
Great video guys! Thanks!
Thp is in the house, gobble, gobble 🦃,they make it look easy😜💯👍
Love the videos man. I’d love to see you guys come around SE Ga and try these turkeys out. Went the last two years and haven’t gotten the chance to pull a trigger yet. I can’t ever seem to get them in range.
Thanks for holding some back so we can have something to watch before the season....
Excellant info for beginning hunters Thanks Guys.
Y'all should come out to eastern Washington. I nabbed a 21 lb gobbler last spring on public land with my 3yo son. He loved it and wants to go out again this year.
You all make some great videos. I like your high tech owl calls.
Great video guys
Keep up the good work love your videos especially when you hunt for turkeys
I love this hunting show. One of my favorites
I can't wait for turkey season here in N.Y. I'd love to know where Jake got that hat for 3 or 4 bucks!! Good job on this hunt fellas encourage more people to get out after some gobblers.
Let us here in Wisco know when/where you'll be hangin out before the sturgeon opener. Would love to come and say hello with a couple buddies.
Holy cow I love this channel don’t change anything about it
Good to see you out there having a hoot.
So ready for turkey tour
They make a stock recoil pad to help with turkey loads in a light gun. I shot many turkeys for years with 3 inch and #6 shot due to more dense pattern, but I switched to number 4 shot and even went down to 2 3/4 hi-brass shells cause much cheaper, less recoil, but still plenty of power. Another wonderful side effect was that #4's tend to blow all the way thru if they strike the breast. Also, if a coyote shows up, 4's work. Single shot was kind of cool due to having a vent rib.
You know it's turkey time when THP starts posting turkey videos!
Turkey season cant get here quick enough. I am ready for spring
Love the Pinhoti merch on that guy in Walmart!
Dave is best Turkey hunter that makes videos hands down, and possibly best overall
props to the guy at wal-mart rockin the Working Class Bowhunter Podcast Hat!
That's me lol.
Was almost strange to hear the sounds of the spring time turkey woods while we have a foot of snow on the ground.
How I wish they still had some 12 gauge Turkey Shells. I don’t know what I’m gonna do this year? Can’t find any anywhere here in eastern Kentucky!
With our powers combined, we are one complete owl call! lol
That single shot is going to kick hard with turkey loads. Your going to wish you went with the 870.
I have killed truck loads of big tom turkey with an Remington 870.
This is Awesome!! Keep HAMMERING guys
Nice! I have an old H&R single shot 20ga that i use.
You guys always seem to upload soon as I get back from hunting lol. Wish we had turkeys here. Got some venison for the freezer though
Where you hunting at
I had a hatfeild single shot, I used 2 3/4 remington express shells. Didn't get to kill a turkey with it, but it actually patterned pretty good.
down here in Florida its about to be turkey time!
them making crazy noises on a boat is the best thing ive seen all day
The world needed this
great vid! great info!
Damn I can’t wait to sling an arrow at a gobbler. First year hunting 2 months to go for turkey 🦃 and I can’t wait. Keep that old turkey footage coming got to stay pumped
Well time video boys, halftime turkey!
Great video and I really appreciate these "Wal-Mart" videos. Just proves that you don't need the fanciest if anything.
When we started hunting, all of our hunting was a "Walmart challenge"! lol The beauty of hunting and fishing is that you don't have to have much money to have a good time. Well done!
Thats changing quick in this country, soon we will be like Europe
@@whiteyfisk9769 If the change you are referring to is the ability to find places to hunt on private ground you are correct. Fortunately there are significant amounts of public ground still available for hunters. It's not like it used to be but it's better than nothing.
The old break open, a great choice for new hunters!
Who else is pumped for some turkey season
GREAT VIDEO MY FRIENDS!!!!
Good stuff!
Walmart is my area quit selling guns and ammo. The manager said it wasn't temporary. How sad! I worked through college selling firearms at Walmart. Walmart was a leader in sales in the late 90s and early 2000s. I worked with 3 other great guys. Together, we could outfit and educate the first time gun owners and new guys wanting to get into hunting. It didn't pay much, but it sure was fun to go to work and be around rifles, shotguns, and like-minded people. We used to play Dan Fitzgerald videos and the Duckman with Phil Robertson on a returned TV in our sporting goods department. Guys would hang out with us while their wives shopped. We had a whole group of customers that we knew by name and would go hunting and shooting with many of them. Man it was fun! I guess it's good for the gun stores that Walmart has got out of the gun business, but its bad for gun manufacturers and gun owners.
My Walmart don’t sell guns!😭
Add the price of those wood haven calls it would probably double the price 😂
if you take off the stock you can get to a screw to adjust the trigger , i did that to mine made it a lot better just don't over adjust or it won't punch the primer with enough strength
Great video! Shows you do not need all that gear!
Yak attack!!! Heck yes!
