- A demonstration of how to groom a Maine Coon cat starring Fred, our 14-month-old Maine Coon (special grooming tool revealed)
Not all Maine Coons are as easy to groom as Fred. We groom him nearly every day and have done this since he was 13-weeks-old.
Regular grooming gives you the best chance of getting a Maine Coon to allow you to groom it and prevent knots and large mats from forming.
You'll also remove lots of loose fur and help to minimize fur balls too.

What a little king! I love him, and you treat him so well! 🥺
Thank you. We all adore him. He's grown into quite a big king now at 23 lbs 😻
I so enjoyed watching you groom your handsome lump of fur, demonstrating with your grooming tools!♥️🙏🏽
Thank you. He’s a good boy ❤️🥰
So cute !!
Thank you 😻
Fred looks beautiful now!
Thank you Susan. He is a handsome boy and has such a lovely nature.
Awesome great video
Thanks Debra. We made the most of a nice day for an outside groom :-)
Fred is 100% better when it comes to grooming then my Maine Coon.
I feel your pain - our previous pair of brothers hated being groomed 😂
Fred has really grown well so has Oscar I hope Moana and Rosie is doing good I love your babies
Thanks Lynn. Fred is 20lbs! All of the cats are well and happy. Rosie has become a very fussy eater though 😁
Dank would NOT let me brush him, that was the only time he ever attacked anyone.
Our previous boys, Harry and Charlie, were like that. We're just so lucky that Fred and Oscar are OK to groom. Mona is so-so and Rosie is no-no!
