Great video! I am thinking my second interview yesterday went quite well now. I watched some of your other videos earlier this week while preparing. Thank you for helping those of us looking for new opportunities! I was a little rusty so it has been very appreciated
Thanks for the tips. The hiring manager (Director) shared their email for me to follow up. I then made it to the next step, where I met with the (AVP, marketing). The AVP also shared their email for any follow up questions. Both interviews were very fluid and felt more like conversation. I am still interviewing other places but wondering how good of a sign it is.
Mam i need to know about 'how to market myself as job seeker' with no experience but required skills and internship so what's some top books on marketing ourself in such a situation as I've heard that presenting oneself with confidence matters a lot in terms of convincing clients or recruiters..
my interview lasted a bit longer than usual bc I asked quite a few questions at the end so I won't use that as a telltale sign but it does give me some hope. also I would say my interviewers answers to my questions were pretty long so that's a good sign. it's just very nerve wracking because they are only hiring one person out of multiple candidates and I'm not sure if I showed my best self, I feel there were a couple questions that I could have answered better or with more detail /:
My first interview was 15 mins shorter then scheduled but I got scheduled for a second interview. The second interview was scheduled for 1hr but it was done in 30mins. Does it mean it’s not a good sign😅? However most of the signs you mentioned were there tho.
Hi, I set a call with a hiring team of the company I applied for a role on LinkedIn, what should I expect to hear? And what do I have to do prior to the call? Thanks
This is a big question! I’d recommend starting here with this playlist: czcams.com/play/PLzWOz8R0BVKl4PETqrCvLdQJyGvPQFx4m.html&si=Es0Zax4_BQjMaaRj I also have a video on phone screening, not sure if this is what is the next step for you: czcams.com/video/STRuZaqQc9E/video.htmlsi=0nIdo1JE2LKBBDc7
I am not sure what to make of how a second round went. I went through a second interview that I think it went well. They even provided me information that the company will be conducting a third round interview as well as the exact location where the third interview will be conducted. The hiring manager even complimented my enthusiasm for the position. However, he did not provide me an exact date of when the third round will be (only a range) and he mentioned they are interviewing a few more applicants. Considering the fast turn around time from Phone Interview to Zoom Interview, I am not sure to expect a decision for the third round to take this long. At this time, I am still awaiting to hear if I will be moving forward or not. Thoughts?
Did you hear back? It's possible someone other than the hiring manager (like a recruiter) did the phone interview and the hiring manager (who may have a busier schedule) did the Zoom interview and is taking a bit longer to get through candidates and schedule the next round of interviews. If you haven't sent a follow-up thank you email, I highly recommend you do so. What was the result of this phase of the interview?
I made it to the next phase interviewing with another VP. That interview went well. I recently landed a job offer!
