I just find it hilarious when people use Quantum Leap meaning it's "huge", but a quantum leap describes "the smallest possible change", something at atomic levels haha.
I bought these in 2023, and after 8 months gave it to a friend who needs bball sneakers. I missed this shoe so much, because it's so comfortable and the cushion was so great, a bought another pair online 2 days ago. Coincidentally, it's the last pair of sz 12s. Thank God! It's meant for me.
Glad they improved the traction after 3 years but a little upset they changed the shape of the last. The Why Not 4 and 5 last shape fit my feet really well. I’ll still try these out.
I have a few pairs of the why not zero.5 and have never had slipping like you did. Sometimes the traction wasn't as good as my curry 10's but I'm going full speed on the zero.5's on a pristine court and on a indoor rubber practice gym floor. No slipping issues. I have the childhood color way as well..no problems. I strike the court with to first starts and stops including lateral moves where Im super low to the ground. Being 145 lbs also factors in for bering light on feet....but footwork and basketball movement is key in getting the most out of the why not. zero.5 or any Westbrook shoe.
Doc question off subject. I've been wearing new balance tennis shoes for 20 years with no foot issues. Recently I've been experiencing pain in the upper foot mainly under my toes. My feet ache after playing one Saturday a week for 3 hours. Do u recommend any particular shoe or orthotic that would address this problem? I'm obviously not opposed to try Nike's or anything else. Thanks in advance I need cushion .
Hey Doc! I just got a pair of LeBron 18 low Zero Dark and around my forefoot they are unbearably tight even though I got them a half a size larger.....Is there any way I can safely stretch these shoes? Even with the insole out it's still too tight. Thanks.
Hey Zach. I got a question. Does shank necessary for a pair of performance shoes ? Nike new Vapor line so weird. If it is so necessary and obvious, I guess Nike won’t make these mistake. Put a tpu in there won’t make it costly for Nike. I wonder is there potentially benefit to build tennis shoes without shank.
how does it compare to converse prototype cx in terms of narrowness? i bought them and regret it because its been 5 months and the shoe wont break in so i get blisters everytime. i always wear narrow shoes like curry 2.5 and why not 4 but this converse is just too narrow. maybe why not 6 would be a good replacement?
These are probably the best shoe ever for my foot.. I have a wide foot and big mid foot with a Morton’s Toe… That zoom unit in the front perfectly compensates my Morton’s Toe.. TTS works for me but I never zip it up, lol my foot won’t allow me to zip up, and I think that’s why it hugs my midfoot perfectly while other shoes apply so much pressure. Bout to get these in multiple colors so I have enough for the next couple years lol
@@ThePartarar I think he has a contract that means they have to keep making shoes for him but they sell pretty well from what I can tell anyway so I don’t think they’re gonna stop until he retires, he’s also gonna ball out for the clippers too so I’m sure that’ll help these fly off the shelves!
I have the Zer0.2 SE in size 10.5 and i felt like the fit was perfect and literally made for my foot. say if i were to buy the zer0.6 what size should i get?
Dr Zach, I have flat and painful arches. Outflared feet with a 2E width. Painful heel too. What are your recommendations for everyday use and basketball(mostly indoor).
I have same issue as you, I went TTS and looove those, I also have a Morton’s Toe though… I never zipper these up and it feels great, I’d definitely try these on in store!
Yeah I ended up using the zero.5s as a casual shoe cause they were rly comfortable but traction wasn’t there. Love the aesthetics of these & different materials. It’s like a Frankenstein design. And Zach yes! The doughy phylon that feels almost like cushlon, some of my Jordan 11s have Phylon like that and all my Jordan 7s have that soft doughy phylon. The spectrum of Nikes phylons is crazy, even there polyurethanes. My Jordan 3 Fire reds have a very soft polyurethane however my Jordan 8 Ruis have almost rock hard polyurethane.
i knew it the jordan one take 4 is far better than his signature shoe for outdoor use and hey do a air jordan 12 retro review please and idk if ill pic air jordan 12 retro leather base upper because i never tried a pair of those yet i have the air jordan 12 retro but mine is all suede i wana try their leather option tho or just the one take 4 because its much affordable than the air jordan 12 retro which cost $250 to $210 freaking dollars the jordan one take 4 is only $100 tho shout out too foot doctor zach im a fan of your channel im from the philippines my name is kristian
Shoes look great to rock casually colorway fire 🔥 BUT if you're a big man like me and want to actually ball, do not even think about those, no support at all.
I play on a concrete outdoor court with a lot of dust. I need shoes with good, durable traction and should not be significantly affected by dust. Is this shoe a good choice?
Based on my playstyle, the most suitable shoe of all time for me is the Kyrie 3. BUT there are two massive problem: 1. Very narrow for me as my feet get sore after a few plays 2. Inadequate cushion Do you have any recommendations on shoes that play similar but better than Kyrie 3?
The new li Ning wow all city 11 is very close to a kyrie shoe but should be a bit wider due to being an Asian company, watch weartesters review on them
Hey Zach, do you plan on doing any review for the Adidas Harden Vol. 7 or the Way of Wade All City 11? I loved your videos you did on the previous renditions of those models
wide footer here and i even went a full size down. thought these shoes suck but they actually perform well so this review is spot on, was surprised with the solid lockdown fit, really best to try them in store (before getting them on sale price haha)
@@toni28c52 same for me too😄, at first they didn't feel so good, but after awhile they became a really good performer. Agree with the lockdown too, that heel padding really keeps your foot in place, even if I loosen the laces, still no heel slippage.
Love these shoes, i actually removed out the laces permanently and feels so better without it 🩶 (Im so bothered to hide the laces inside the zipper lol) The zipper is enough to hug my foot tightly. Just hang the zipp to the its hanger. So easy to wear my shoe in and out, plus! my feet breathes better without those long, tight, useless and bothering laces. Been using it in playing basketball and even boxing its great doesn't need its laces 👊

In chemistry, a quantum is a discreet small unit of measure. The definition of a quantum leap is a huge, sudden change.

Hi doc, do you have a best list of shoes for wide footers?
Hey Doc whats the best basketball shoes for a wide mid foot?

Thanks for being so early doc!
Getting mine in the mail today, got the HTG colorway. It has the translucent outsole traction, we'll see how it goes
