The situation of Rohingya Muslim in Burma/Myanmar is dire. The recent boat people crisis at the Andaman Sea and the discovery of mass graves of Rohingya victims of human trafficking in Thailand and Malaysia have added to the plight of Rohingya. Violation of basic human rights against Rohingya by the Government of Myanmar continues where restrictions on travel, marriage, education, two-child policy (only for Rohingya), confiscation of Rohingya lands, and many other violations are rampant. The confiscation of nationality documents of Rohingya by the Government of Myanmar has rendered them stateless. Further, restriction on the movement of the international humanitarian workers by Government of Myanmar has aggravated the situation in the internally displaced persons camps and Rohingya villages
