you do realize that the repair was mediocre at best and downright dangerous at worse. When the actual chassis and suspension is damaged in a crash that car should not be driving especially since all he did was weld an extension onto the original chassis without replacing the whole rear drivetrain and suspension. And more about those extensions he welded on, if the weld points rusted the whole rear would practically fall off or would become loose. If the car got in a crash again it's more than likely that the rear would snap off taking the bumper and trunk off with it. So yeah pretty dangerous

Youre right. You never know how they fixed it. This one is as safe as the 1st day it came out of factory though. He just welded new panels in place of old one. Just what the factory does, weld all panels together. Now if he had repaired structural rails, then it would not be safe.

Very professional repair and still good production job, it's what the insurance companies want and pay for.
Unfortunately insurance companies don’t pay for it . They see it as total loss , however this guy is amazing
@@Financebyhorus so you've seen the repair estimate and made that determination
@@charlescastillo8870 I don’t need to see the repair estimate to say that. 20 years in a body shop as a tech working with direct repairs. As a said before insurance companies wanna pay less everyday and if a vehicle repair cost is more than the actual value they just write it as a loss . It’s stupid but truth. I’ve seen cars with a light front end damaged sent it to auction .
I too spent 38yrs in the industry and have seen it evolve into what it is today, especially here in the U.S., techs have become parts changers without even knowing how to use a hammer and dolly much less a frame machine. In some countries they still repair and replace parts because of the value vehicles hold in said country, be it China, India or Russia
@@charlescastillo8870 you're a hundred percent right. I am from a country where I learned to build parts by hand because we didn't have the luxury of new parts to replace. When I got here I needed to learn new skills because in Cuba all I did was restoration. However, some of those skills learned at home helped me to succeed as a tech.
Amazing job, there was some noise insulation missing in the truck but was it worth the cost and the effort?
No, this car is as unsafe as it gets.
@@flitsertheo Wrong. He took the car apart in the reverse of how it was built in the factory, then put it back together again the same way. If this car is unsafe, then every nissan in the entire world is.
A Collision fix genius, no question about that!
Wow worst a professional job that was love your technique 👏 excellent superb results 👌 better that factory.
Филигранная работа кувалдой! ; )
Es un chingón ese muchacho y como siempre con su sonrisa, saludos desde México.
Such a badass welding with no eye protection.
Gorgeous! Fantastic job!
A long time ago, I had an official shop manual for my Honda Accord. It has some drawings of the white body and alignment specs to be checked after the frame is straightened using a puller. Given the fact that he’s in a clean Nissan uniform, clean working environment and he used many seems to be oem parts, he probably is working for a Nissan dealership so it is probably legitimate in China, which by large is still a developing country. No way this is not a total loss in the states, even if it just get off dealer’s lot.
Total lost is due to the high repair cost and stupid insurance policy. If you can fix the car by the manual, there is no total lost.
@@lynnmei4346 AND THE COLLISION SHOP ALWAYS SAID I'M NOT MAKING MONEY!!!! FUNNY THING IS THAT THEY ARE BEING BOUGHT UP BY COLLISION SHOP CORPORATIONS.THEY
in most Asian countries, they do write it as total lost, owner gets their compensation and due to that, insurance company will appoint a car repair shop to restore them and be road worthy again. Usually ends up in the secondary market. Its a shaddy business
You're really gonna drive that? Ok
хорошо сказано
I just have a back crush on my Kia Ceed car...my service car was not happy to repair it. Great work guys!
Great job! You would be lucky to find someone who could do that in America today.
if that thing gets hit again its folding in half
Had the exact same thought
Why would you say that?
@@Brulserz cause of that thing gets hit again its folding in half
