45 years....who is still listening ? . . me
These were truly the days, we lived life back then, this modern generation has absolutely no idea about life
Listening to David Grasham friday night Top Twenty was the best thing in those years,oh bring back the past and those memorable moments
What great memories! I was 12 years old in Std 5 in S.A. Other songs such as Rod Stewart's 'Sailing' and David Dundas' 'Jeans On' also come to mind. The good old days, so much more innocent in certain respects - it brings a tear to my eye.
Found this song and broke down crying. I miss those old days and LM radio and Springbok. Was 17 and pregnant with my daughter. Always would run to the tube radio and turn this song on louder when it played. Sighs.
Love all this music!!! Wish we can have them back again!
Best days this world has known. Really miss those wonderful days.
If my memory serves me correct, this song was the no. 1 for the year on Radio 5 and No2 was Typically Tropical with Barbados
Oldies is the best music ever.
Was on the border during national service when this came out. Serious memories.... being in the middle of nowhere in the bush with Milky Ways resonating from the handset of an army radio - awesome!
Good memories i fall in love with this song at Springbok radio and radio 5 every day after school i Rush at home just to tune on Springbok radio show at same
One of the first songs I heard in South Africa when we moved there in 1976. I was 9 years old.
Oh man! I've been looking for this song for so long, I was about 11 when I knew the words, back in Rhodesia, just found a looong lost source of childhood memories, thanks a span.
I am still listening to the old music form the age of 8 or 9 when I first my portable radio and am still listening at the age of 70. It simply best and will always be the best, for me anyway.
This single turned up in Sweden early 1976 and swept me off my feet immediately - still sounds great
Brings back such wonderful memories of a past life ....... if only you could turn back time!!!
