Crafting with Nature - Seashell Candle Sconces

Welcome to the Shellman studio!
Today in the shell studio I create a pair of wall candle sconces decorated in thousands of shells. Every single small Umbonim shell needs to have the right way facing up. It's something of a Sysyphos job that requires a steady hand. To my help me handle mostly use tweezers and old dentist tools. Not something I would normally use to this extent on a larger object.

Hey! I source most of my seashells from old collectors with a lot of non-collector worthy shells that is what I am looking for. I also partner with local restaurants for oyster shells and beachcomb myself whenever i get a chance :) Thank you! 🙏🏼🤍 🐚Buster
