I just love how people are shocked about Latvia going to finals! The song is beautiful, with meaning, Dons vocals are amazing. It's just shows how sad is society, that cheers about some dumb, naked ass fool's on stage, than deep, meaningful words. Go Latvia! 🇱🇻

I was in shock for like 2 minuets that latvia qualified, so unexpected but he is wonderful. I think people are now desiring more of eurovision performances without gimickis and simply a good voice with simple yet effective staging. They don't want the half naked artists, they want the respectfull, great voice acts, and espcially they are craving the balleds.
He was amazing and I also love the song, he was my number 5 this semi
Theres space for everything, what i want in eurovision and i think everyone does is a bit of everything, all joke songs, all ballads, all dance pop songs...would be boring if it was all the same thing. Also like when the top 5 includes all different types of songs

1.they are using one the oldest MUSICAL instruments in northern europe.
2.they are dancing one of the ethnical dances from an estonian island. Again old sh*t.

4. There's melodi
5. There's lyrics to the melodi.
Rest of Europe voted them to the finals, cause it's fun, light and catchy. Educate yourself!
@@mariiaase6900 It seems that the Eurovision jury, the music professionals and experts, have also not been able to appreciate all that you list since they only awarded them 4 points, thus leaving them in the last place in the jury's vote. Anyway, today I listened to the performance more carefully and I admit that the song has parts that can be catchy, but no more. Seriously, I wish you better luck next time 🙂.
@katodyka3153 I watched yesterday. I know. And it doesn't matter. They had fun, estonians had fun. Publicum had fun. You pointed out that no-one can explain why Estonia is in the finals.. everyone (except 1) that got to the finals deserved a place in the finals.
I looked the same last night, totally stressed out. And my country got in. We all know that Dons is an amazing artist. He is a quality singer- without naked people, fireworks and all that shit. Only quality. These are good news for everyone. It means it's about music and nothing else.

They are saying that many Italians might have voted number 14 in the semifinal thinking they were voting for Italy (not knowing the rules), instead that number was attached to the Israel performance that came right after Italy.

I think it was really beautiful performance of Israel and they definitely deserved to qualify. Malta was not clicking with me since beginning so I'm not surprised. Also Latvia did better than Belgium and I'm happy for them to qualify after many years.

I always really liked the Belgium that had passed
I think I know the problem why there are shock qualifiers. Semi 2 is much more epic than semi 1, seriously, I can't remember like 60% from there. Semi 2 has so much good songs and... we have a viewer, who didn't watch the clips and doesn't understand the hype behind some of the songs. Beggining of semi 2: BANG epic BANG epic BANG epic. And you can't focus on those really great songs and you try to remember something different from this like Latvia (screaming baldness😅) or Estonia (strange instruments and music) or the Netherlands (well... shoulders and the meaning). Eurovision fans have their impact on very good songs and they are not affected by this overflow of epic, because they took time to watch all the clips and form their opinion.
