15/9 DAY 1 : ARRIVAL MEDAN (L) Hotel : Le Polonia hotel - Superior Room
Arrive at Kualanamu International Airport Medan, greeting service.
Visit Maimoon Palace to see the Palace of the Sultan of Deli which was built in 1888.
Transfer to local restaurant for lunch. City sight seeing in Medan. Afternoon check in to hotel. Dinner at local restaurant.
16/9 DAY 2 : MEDAN - PARAPAT - SAMOSIR (B,L,D) Hotel : Samosir cottage - Super Deluxe Room
After breakfast at hotel, proceed to Parapat Lake Toba. Stop to buy local food products. Lunch at local restaurant. Arrive at Parapat, cruise the Lake Toba. Check in to hotel for accommodation. Dinner at hotel.
17/9 DAY 3 : SAMOSIR ISLAND TOUR - PARAPAT (B,L,D) Hotel : Niagara hotel- Superior Room
After breakfast , visiting Tomok Village to see the old grave stone of King Sidabutar, Visit Ambarita village to see the chair stone and place of execution made by King Siallagan many years ago. Lunch provided at local restaurant. Visit Sibea bea and Efrata waterfall. Back to Parapat, Check in Hotel, dinner provided at Hotel.
18/9 DAY 4 : PARAPAT - BERASTAGI (B,L,D) Hotel : Grand Mutiara hotel - Superior Room
After breakfast at hotel, tour continues to Berastagi. Enroute stop at Simarjarunjung to enjoy ginger tea and fried bananas (personal expenses). Stop at Sipiso Piso waterfall to see this magnificent 110 metres tall waterfall and an extraordinary view of Lake Toba from the north side. Lunch at local restaurant.
Upon arrival in Berastagi visit the Central Fruit Market to buy tropical fruits, vegetables and flowers. Check into the hotel for accommodation.
19/9 DAY 5 : BERASTAGI - MEDAN (B,L) Hotel : Le Polonia hotel - Superior Room
Breakfast at hotel. Drive back to Medan Visit Shwedagon Pagoda Replica at Taman Alam Lumbini. Upon arrival in Medan. Visit Batik center and local product industry. Lunch provide at local restaurant. Afternoon check in to hotel for accommodation.
DAY 6 : MEDAN - DEPARTURE (B)
Breakfast at hotel, then free and easy until transfer to airport for your next destination. Feel Lovely with us..( Late check out requested - usually at 1800pm ).

I've been there once in 1995 during my 3 days 2 nights Medan/Lake Toba Tour. It was fun but scary at the same time. Samosir Island is a large volcanic island inside Lake Toba (a gigantic ancient crater of a SUPERVOLCANO).
I've no idea what's gonna happen if it awakes all in a sudden.
Cannot worry too much.. there are no indicators when they will erupt.. just hope it won’t when we are traveling…

Hi there… 👋… Ah Fatt started it I think when we were in Japan 🇯🇵…there’s a lot of stairs in the underground stations in Japan and Korea … so every time we see once of those 😳, we will go “oh no.. another one need to climb”…especially if we have heavy luggages 🧳 .
So Ah Fatt try to be positive about that and thought of CNY greetings to brighten up the day… and it has stuck on ever since! 😂

I had no idea this place is so beautiful. May I know how much is it to hire the car and driver for the days you were there and what the deal covers? Gas inclusive? These driver was prearranged or there are many for hire at the airport or even around town?

It’s so near and so beautiful. I think Lake Toba is a “forgotten” tourist destination after we have all these low cost airlines and people are going to further places like Japan, Korea, etc.
I remember it being a popular tourist destination maybe ~30 years ago. Maybe “forgotten” or “overlooked” now.

@@legambaz don’t have. The driver does not have a car, he is employed by travel company in Medan. They will allocate whoever is available and I happen to have Diza.
It’s best to pick a reputable company for this… in case, for example you left something in the car, you know who to contact to try and get it back vs just flagging someone off the street. We felt absolutely safe all the time… and very often I left my stuff in the car while I went out filming… you just don’t want to risk having someone just drive away your belongings when you get down the car and do sightseeing.

@@syanlee1 definitely definitely worth staying in Samosir island! Do not miss it…. If can, arrive early and enjoy the hotel’s facilities like the pool, etc.. we arrived pretty late (due to ferry tickets being sold out!) so didn’t have much time to enjoy the facilities.
5D/4N is good.. we did 6D/5N not too rush and I think is just nice!
