He rules over every thing, not just the church or church songs. That doesn't mean all secular music is great but it also doesn't mean that all secular music is terrible either. The same can be said for Christian music too. God takes the worst and can make the best out of it! We're honored to have your support and want to be mindful that we don't throw all "secular" art in the trash because there are some great Christian people making art that is not categorized as "Christian" and they deserve to be supported. Somehow, someway God shows up and impacts people through imperfect people.

This was my moms favorite song she played it everyday after she got diagnosed with cancer and always kept a positive attitude and she recently passed away so I’m listening to this song for her.

Reason to smile.
I had my gall bladder removed. I went to my DR yesterday for post op appointment. Everything is fine. He gave me some papers describing the operation and the findings. I got home and looked at the pages. The last page said I had pancreatic cancer. At the top of the page was someone else's name. The doctors office got some of the pages mixed up.
I said a prayer last night for the person who had cancer. I also said a prayer asking God to help me choose joy and gratitude for every day I have left.
Your concert in Jefferson City Missouri was so wonderful. I was amazed how it felt like family sitting around a fire fellowshipping and praising God. Bells and whistles smoke machines fancy lights not necessary. It was the words of the songs and the sincerity of the singers heart that made it magical.
I cried over Robert Lingos story and signed up to sponsor a child. I know his name cuz I made him give me his autograph I told him he was a rockstar. We were all amazed at the talent of the band members to play multiple instruments. All of the band so humble. I'm sure that is how God uses you so well.

Thank you so much for making this song I've struggled with mental health my whole life. I'm 16 and last year my depression was just so bad I honestly didn't think I'd last much longer. I'm still here though I still have my major struggles and I will continue to fight for life. I know God is real but it was often hard to allow people to help me let alone him. But I'd say God is probably the main reason I'm still here and I'm thankful for that! As well as for finding this song my depression has been resurfacing at times recently and this song is something I'll definitely listen to when I'm feeling down even when I'm not feeling down. So thank you so much for this song ❤️ it's absolutely beautiful!!!!!

I am so glad that you are still here....you have a purpose on this earth and you are loved. My 14 yr son died by suicide in Oct, just 4 months ago, and I can't tell you how much we miss him and are hurting. I wish he could have stayed on this earth, but he chose otherwise. Praying for you.....!! and stay close to God. He is the only way.

I just sent a comment and I forgot to comment on how much I love lead singer David Frey's voice Talent. From the fast songs to the slower ones he has the perfect combination of singing on such perfect key and the vibrato in his voice at just the right spots.

Thanks for this! So true. My family has been through so much pain in the past year. Our house burned down, wife developed heart problems and a hernia (life threatening, risky surgery because of heart), daughter getting diagnosed with cancer (went from cervical (removed) to bladder/intestine) and still fighting it, dad dying of cancer as well, me having to drive them to doctors appointments. Things just don’t seem to be getting any better. This song gives me hope so again thanks! Psalms 31 has always been my go to in these dark times. This songs reaffirms it.

I love your music and its' messages! I have been sharing your music on my social media. I have been battling with MS for 22 years now. This music has been my rock of strength!
I was lost when my marriage fell apart and had no idea what my son and I's future would be, the song Lay Down My Life, was the rock I clung to. ✝️ Even though I couldn't imagine any reason that the pain and loss I was experiencing 💔 could be a part of God's greater plan for our lives. I kept yelling to the Father in my sorrow, What is the greater plan?!?!
It wasn't until I gave up the all the control and told the Father, Lord I've been trying to figure all of these things out on my own and nothing is working. So I am completely turning over our lives and putting them in your hands, for You to put us where you want us to be.
We were homeless at the time I surrendered complete control to God. Only then, did all the pieces of the puzzle start to fit. They started falling into place literally the next day! Now my son and I have our own 2 bedroom house in the country and it our piece of heaven on earth.
I endured 7 years in that marriage. I now know that I had to go through hell to get to heaven. God is moving in our lives in even bigger ways now! Point of my story, I surrendered it all completely at His feet and had complete trust and faith in His power and His love ❤️ for us and continued to walk by Faith 🙏✝️ not by sight 👀
I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Dave and everyone after a performance at the Cup O Joy coffee house in Green Bay, WI about 10 years ago. After the performance was over they had an autograph signing ✍️ downstairs in the basement. But because of me being in wheelchair due to my MS, I could not go downstairs. So I waited until they were done and came up stairs again. Which was amazing because I got to meet everybody 1st hand and shake their hand and and I have a picture with the band with my husband at the time. They were wonderful to personally autograph everything I bought at the show. I was very appreciative that they took the time to chat for a bit even though I know Dave was hungry. Because you don't eat until after your performance.
Then we were blessed again with the opportunity to see the guys in concert in Green Bay Wisconsin this year at the new Cup O Joy facility. My son was with me this time. He had a true spiritual experience at the concert and was moved to tears by one of the songs. He is an 18 year old autistic person with a cognition of a 9 year old.
He has struggled alot with the existence of God, because he can't see Him in the flesh. But your music has been the bridge, that helps him understand that Jesus and the Father are ALWAYS with us, even though we cannot see them.
We bought him a poster and hoped that he could also have the chance to meet the band and have his poster autographed also. But Covid continues to complicate things. So unfortunately he did get that opportunity. 😪
Even though we waited and he wanted to help the band pack up and meet them in person. After his spiritual experience during the show, he was very disappointed and heartbroken that he couldn't meet them. He tells me he that he really misses you guys and always wants to know where you are at on the tour next.
The band will at Life Fest in Oshkosh, WI in July. So of course, we will be there on that Saturday.
So maybe through God's grace, he could meet the guys outside where it is safer due to Covid. That would be an amazing thing for him!
If we can just make that happen.... 🙏❤️✝️✍️🙏🤗

It’s amazing how some things work out. A couple of days ago I got in a car accident where my car got totaled (both me and the other person are ok aside from some bruises and soreness), and I found out on that same day that my grandpa has pancreatic cancer and I put my playlist on shuffle and this is the first song that came on.

I had just taken the ACT and I felt really stressed about it. The next day, we were picking up a friend for church and this song came on and I started laugh-crying when it says “Smile, when you think you can’t. Sometimes I stress about college and where I’m going to go, but I know that God is the ultimate provider!!!
I was feeling exactly how you were a couple years ago when I was graduating. But it definitely does help to remember that God's hand is on your life and he leads those that he loves. Even if you don't end up where you want to go, if you're following God you will end up where you're meant to be and God will use you wherever you are

So today was gonna be my day. I was gonna get my learners permit. I was super excited. I got there and failed the vision screening. I've cried for like two hours, and I know that I have to choose joy at some point. So I came to this song. Thank you sidewalk Prophets for cheering me up:) Music always helps, and this was the perfect song!
I had been really down the other day with people, especially the difficulty that ive been going through at work. I felt worthless, like I could never do anything right, or good enough. My finances are not good and just overall change in attitude and who I used to be, before life dragged me down with it. This song came on through my K-love station and it gave me hope for a better future. Hope and trust are very powerful things, if you let them in. I truly think God gave me that song that day, for such times as these! Thank you Sidewalk Prophets! Love your music! Keep up the good work in Jesus name!
