I used to have herniated disc at L4-L5 and L5-S1 and have done microdiscectomy. Is it still fine if I use the massage chair for lumbar massage and move my pelvic around?
Yes, it should help with circulation around the disc as well as help with scar tissue from the surgery.
Need help deciding over titan pro cascade, osaki os pro tecno, titan elite 3d or osaki pro 3d sigma. 4d are out of price range for now and i wouldn't go for the knock off brands that have "4D"
Cascade is being discontinued so I think you can only get that in one color, but a solid chair for that price. Would not recommend the Titan Elite when compared to the other chairs. Sigma is an awesome chair, so that would be my pick. If you email me and let me know your budget, I may be able to either get you a 4d chair or offer you other 3d chair options. Dr. Duncan, I am a Dental Hygienist and have neck and back issues and looking for an L track chair. I saw Osaki Maxim 3D LE Massage Chair on sale but it didn't get great reviews? Can you tell me otherwise about that chair or recommend another model that would be good for me?
Hey Theresa, if you are a hygienist then I would look toward an S-Track instead of an L-Track, since mid back is usually the most effected from working and leaning from the same side of the patient all day. If you think you need the track to go into the legs, then you could go to an SL track. My other video on the 4000-T would be.a great fit for you. You can email me and I can go into more detail. If you can hold off for a couple of weeks I'm traveling down to Osaki HQ to sit and use every single model. Let me know if you have any other questions.
@@TheWellnessDoc I live in Ohio and there were a few stores around me that had a couple brands- Cozzia and Zen. I didn't care for either of these and wanted to go with Osaki. While in the chairs I did love the L-track more than the S track so yes, maybe the SL- track may work. It is just the up and down out of the chair after 30 yrs of hygiene.... I suggest working with Dr. Duncan as he can also advise what features you are looking for. My chair has a weight capacity of 220 LBS not sure if that is an issue for you or not.
how does this compare with the Inada Dreamwave massage chair? It's an older model, but was top of the line 5 years ago

thinking of buying a massage chair.. such a pain in the ass. the "best in test" chair seems to be just a rebranded Chinese chair claiming it's built with Italian design and Scandinavian quality? (in Norwegian) .
and all the review sites seem sketchy at best. Does anyone have any experience with these chairs?

Is this something you can use daily? I’m an engineer so high stress and tense muscles. I have a lot of back and neck pain. Looking into a chair to come home and unwind with every day after work or before bed.

I can't make a claim like that, but releasing stress is one way to lower blood pressure. There are several other ways to lower blood pressure too, so this would be just one of the things you could do to help.

Hmm interesting. I'm 218lbs and unfortunately that 16" seat width I think is 2" too narrow.

The lowest priced chair I have reviewed is $2000, if you can go a little higher than 1K you get a much better chair with more features.
