When you got your degree, did you do the BEd so you could teach K-Grade 6 or Grade 4- Grade 10?

I need help deciding on what grades I could teach as a grade 12 high-school student who wants to become a male teacher in Canada. When you got your Bachelor of Education degree, what did you choose teach Kindergarten to Grade 6 or Grade 4 to Grade 10? What was the interview process like? Do you think teaching is worth it?
