Those were the days, where you and a buddy can sit outside, using a chainsaw motorbike to rack up on PP points, and destroy as many ATM's as you can to try to buy that insanely over-priced SUV ~.~ good times
I was replaying OTR on co op with my brother in 2020 during all the pandemic stuff, plus my cat was dying. So I have bittersweet memories you could say. Just listening to the silly mall music is making me tear up. RIP Felix my little buddy gone too soon.
I know! I played the game about 3 years ago or so, and I still occasionally come back to hear its OST from time to time. Its like, I never quite realized it at first, but when I think about it, its really one of the most solid videogame OST I can think off- from the badass psychopath themes, to the casual catchy casino BGM while slaying random zombies... It fits so well.
Ill never forget opening those double doors and seeing how far this game has come since the original...this song was playing my first time visiting royal flush and being a huge fan of the original i about died. Ah the memories. I really wish that capcom would take dead rising back to its roots with its old school gameplay...its what made it what it was. Edit: 7 years after making this comment and the first and best Dead Rising game is getting a full remaster! Our prayers have been answered!
@@Spider-Complexion I can't remember who made the video on the history of the series' development, but Capcom Japan actually did NOT want them to make dead rising 3 the way they did. The Canadian dev studio were in talks with Microsoft and wanted to take the franchise in a different direction. Capcom Japan was letting them just carry on with development not checking in that much. When they finally found out the game the studio was making they were pissed and the game entered development hell. Because of all the conflict and other reasons much of the original team was gone before DR4 entered into production and there was a new creative lead. It's very unlikely we'll ever get another DR in the spirit of the first 2.
